I love you guys, well most of you, but I value my anonymity immensely. This is literally the only place I can have a bad day sometimes, and just be a regular guy talkin to his buds.

I have to walk on eggshells in real life all the time, and I always have to worry about offending someone with my imperfection. People expect you to be this pious sissified milquetoast, and that is just not me, so I'm extremely careful about what I say and how I say it...here not so much.

That’s not true at all. You can be whoever you want and say what you want. This is America.

You’ve just gotta be willing to deal with the consequences. Sounds like you aren’t.

Making them workout with no water allowed and lots of other strenuous weight lifting and workouts where players got put in the hospital with injuries. Now watch, everyone and their brother is going to jump in and sue. FSU needs to get out of this now and this is a bad mark on Oregon too even though Mario wasn't their during this time. The same strength coach being sued too is with Taggert at FSU still.
I had forgotten about all that. He could be in some serious trouble

Don’t ever change. 👊🏼 I like that here too.

Here’s today’s random question. What percentage of people on Volnation actually know each other or have at least met? Would you say less than 5%? Just curious... I find it amazing how you begin thinking you know someone because you’ve posted in a forum with them for years yet have never met in person. Until recently, how many of us knew (didn’t care either way) that @HankHill was black? Lol. Or which posters are women or even the ages. I’ll admit, many of your names creates the image I think about when you post. I think of @Ulysees E. McGill as a grouchy old guy, @Ron Swanson as well, Ron Swanson and so on. Anyway, carry on. 👊🏼
HankHill be like:

Weird statement. Do you act on every single impulse you have, or do you choose wisely so as to mitigate what consequences you might face? Life is full of choices, but if you followed every impulse you have, you'd fail pretty quickly.

I want to say this in a way you understand, but it may just be a foreign concept to you.

The life I have chosen to live, and don't misunderstand me I will never regret it, is a life of sacrifice and living for others, and I dearly love helping people, but this place is a oasis of self centered catharsis for me where I can speak with little to no filter. I need that sometimes too. Like I said, I am imperfect, and my mouthing off here is the just about the worst thing I do.

There may come a day when I don't need that anymore.

Good post.

I wouldn't be able to counsel and help as many people as I do if they didn't have confidence in me. It is not anybody's fault or wrong. It is just human nature

That's right, I'm 39. 2002 UT Grad. We were spoiled with our time on the hill. UT FB was at the top of the CFB world.
Wow, we were there in the same time period...the glory years. I graduated vet school in 2001, so I’m a few years older than the undergrad graduates.

To be honest, I am about 80% sure one of you on here is my uncle and I am 50/50 one of you are one of my buddies from college. I have never asked either of them. I prefer the anonymous aspect of forums.
I found out my youngest brother posts in the FF every once in a blue moon, but I hardly ever go over there.
