I don't think he is making an unreasonable assumption at all...certainly not enough to warrant attacking him. No reason why a OC hire should take forty plus days. There is a problem, either with the administration interference or a problem with the terms that Pruitt is laying out. What is amazing to me is how much of this silly garbage from an administration that some of you will gobble up before you realize there is a problem.
I thought this was about the possibility of him being the OC here not whether he is liked personally or not. Didn't you?Perhaps, but is there a better explanation for the dislike some VN posters exhibit for him?
So if no one knows anything, how is one opinion hilarious and the other is not? One side seems to be based on an assimption that Fulmer is a great AD and Pruitt is a great head coach, neither of which are proven. The other side seems to be based on the recent history of ut coaching hires, which hasnt gone well, to say the least.
If you assume the hire was made long ago.through back channels and we are.just not announcing for some reason, you assumption may be correct. I dont believe that to be the case. One opinion is saying something is terribly wrong and there’s a dumpster fire going on. Based on zero anything at all. The other opinion is previous coaching hires based on people who aren’t even at the school anymore is stupid. Our athletic dept since we fired everybody responsible for the previous dumpster fires has been a smooth ran ship to this point, so that’s all we can base this off of. I think there’s a better chance that a deal has been made in the back channels long ago and were awaiting our next oc to finish his previous obligation before making the announcement out of respect for our next oc. Both are just guesses but the opinion that it’s another dumpster fire simply based on not being told anything is pretty dumb don’t you think? Fulmer nor Pruitt were here for the previous administration so what happened with people who no longer work here anymore is irrelevant.

You do understand that you can not 'like' someone for a job for many reasons none of which include personal like/dislike or race..

Ok, I.dont think they have a clue who the next oc is going to be.I don’t assume that to Be true. That would just be my best guess gun to my head. It could be an nfl coach still coaching or somebody from bama or Clemson. I just don’t think our fan base realizes the old admin. that had the dumpster fire hiring process isn’t there anymore. Fulmer made the Pruitt hire seemless and easy. Extended Barnes quietly and easy. I’m giving him theBenefit of the doubt until he does something to concern me in the slightest way. Our fan base whines when nothing is done in house and whines when it’s done 100% in house. Damned both ways I guess![]()
One thing is, if a sports writer wants to have the scoop on any Story related to a coaching search anywhere in the country all they have to do is read the volnation and if they can sort through all the garbage all of their research has been previously done.Is there REALLY any actual interest from Pruitt in this guy or is this just OC search boredom on our part? The quote from Brice said #Vols showing interest.. Hell, he could be talking about VolNation and technically would NOT be wrong...
I believe these guys have a deal with Freak to bait us into thread generation and cloning...![]()
There's been nothing to indicate Martin is/was being considered for OC.
But there's every indication those who have something against Martin will take the most random excuse to chew that bone.
How do you define better results? It's also true that everything we do the prospect can do themselves, that has always been true and never presented differently. We simply provide a service that performs those task for prospects and their families. Your opinion of whether someone should do that on their own because it works better is simply your opinion as I don't see you showing any facts or numbers for that to be the case. High School athletes become college athletes a number of different ways and for a bunch of different reasons, we help families in the process and have done so as an A+ rated company for over 33 years. Look up recruiting services with the BBB and you'll see that not many have a positive rating and a large portion have multiple lawsuits against, we are not that type service. I respect your opinion on services but no sense in trying to dog on what I do.Lol how? He put it out there for public opinion. I'm not speaking to anyone directly trying to persuade them from signing up for a useless recruiting service that you could do on your own with better results.

I suspect because of the nature of the tweets that he slandered my business by trying to associate it with a major hate group because of the town I was born in and lived my entire life. He had your same viewpoint of services and tried to put me down for what I do for a living, I just think he chose a poor way of doing it. We have fought haters of our product for years, but the bottom line is that we've helped thousands of families in the recruiting process and have watched them save hundreds of millions of $$$ in college tuition and fees. Why?
We've had 25 of our last 100 girl softball players go D1. We have several end up going D1 through the Juco ranks. Recruiting is all about contacts and who coaches trust. Our service is simple, we have a great contact list and we're honest. We don't write contracts with athletes we feel are not legitimate prospects, whether it be D1 or NAIA and we give brutally honest assessments of each student athlete we service. Not digging what you do, however if a young man or woman is good enough to play D1 they will be found. I coached college baseball and know how these things work. Camps are all BS unless you're invited, they are used to pay assistants and make money for the program. Parents get fooled when they see "prospect camp", when simply it's a tactic used to charge more money. Also, it's not that hard to make a tape of your skill set especially in baseball and send it off to schools you're interested in. I used to tell parents at camps all the time, you have a better chance of winning the lottery and buying the Yankees than you do of your son playing for the Yankees.
