Could it be Chaney?

All of you guys debating whether or not Chaney is good enough is comical. He’s good enough for Georgia, so that should tell you everything.

Isn't this argument self-defeating since if he ends up here then UGA didn't fight that hard for him or let him go?

WOW!!! Jay Nichols said this Huh!?!

What made it truly remarkable was his SR. season by comparison.
What nobody remembers is that he wasn't very good early in 2009 either. We never should've lost to UCLA or Auburn. Then they turned it into a high school offense with single read throws and Crompton lit up Georgia in one of the most improbable blowouts I've ever seen.

He scored 40+ points a game. I'll take that mediocrity anyday here. And while I may put the LSU game on him he had nothing to do with losing to Bama or Texas.

I also remember people saying he and his wife loved East Tn and wanted to retire here.

Can we just delete this thread to save VN the embarrassment?

Edit: Just to clarify, I posted this when this was an independent thread about the idiot tweet from "Jay Nichols Sports."

Chaney would be an excellent hire, which is why I dont believe it will happen.

But if it does, GO VOLS!

If a coaching hire isnt made in the next two days after the season is over. This is officially a #shitshow

4-year average of 57th offense nationally. C'mon, you know you want that sweet sweet mediocrity for Pruitt's come up.

Is 57th not a huge improvement from where we are now? You think any OC is gonna walk in here and turn us into a top 25 offense in a couple of years? If you do then lol.
