Your argument is old and tired. You have said this 100 times and still refuse to use any common sense or look at the context of the stats you are using. Give it a rest.
Over your head as wellDon’t spread falsehoods around here unless your trying to flush out the FF folks.View attachment 187432
I think Chaney is average at best and no one will convince me other wise. I watched his offenses here for 4 years and there is a reason he has been a drifter and Georgia has stripped responsibilities from him and are slow playing him with a contract. I know I’m in the minority for that but that’s how i feel.
I will admit, I was wrong about how this season would turn out. I felt we could win 7, maybe 8 games coming into it. I still believe if our OL had been anything other than maybe the worst OL in college football, and if Darrell Taylor shows up in a couple more games, we may have gotten 7; because I thought and believed these, I was wrong. This coming from the guy who told me my opinions were garbage when I said our pass rush would struggle this year and WVU had an edge over us due to staff and roster continuity.
Thinking and saying we’re 3+ years from an SEC Championship isn’t a ridiculous opinion at all. Most outside of VN would just call that a realistic opinion.
Yeah but that unit’s personnel wasn’t all that great the previous years, either.Spin them anyway you want...the only year we had a good offense was with one of the best offensive rosters in the last decade here.
Mathews said when the search started that Pruitt would talk to a lot of people, and he wouldn't necessarily be interviewing them. He said that's what Fulmer use to do, and it goes all the way back to Bear Bryant...talking to many different people, many different minds, during a search.Fulmer encouraged Pruitt to talk to different Offensive minds.
Freeze is a well respected Offensive mind.
UT was never going to offer/hire Hugh Freeze.
Jeremy Pruitt was just having a conversation with an Offensive guy that beat Alabama twice.
I actually prefer it this way, and find comfort that the media is scrambling. I see it as everyone rowing in the same direction. It’s literally the opposite of Bermuda John’s search last year.

I also still believe that most of your opinions are still garbage; that hasn't changed, no matter how wrong I was, am, and will be in the future.
I’m not sure saying that we’re 3 or more years away from an SEC Championship is being negative about our recruiting. Most of the guys we sign in this class could still be around 3-4 years from now. Saying we need 3 or 4 more like this isn’t a rub on them as much as in the current state of the depth we have to work with on this roster. Even if we hit on everybody we bring in this year, we’re gonna need to build more depth behind those guys to have the type of roster that wins 10 games. As far as 3+ yrs...maybe; doesn't change that I believe anyone who thinks negatively about our recruiting, in any form or fashion, is being very shortsighted, and just looking for something to bit*h about; pretty much the same way I feel about anyone who was, and still is, hung up about Weinke coaching RBs.
