Rather have Chaney/Pittman, but if Pittman doesnt come, bring on Tee to coach RBs, force Weinke out.

I don’t get the love affair with Chaney. He just out talents people. I never was impressed with him here or at Arkansas. According to the UGA boards he is getting most of the blame for the Sugar Bowl and the fans are ready to see him go.

Pittman on the other hand is easily top 3 offensive line coach.

I’m starting to think they are starting to lose confidence in Kirby, especially after the blunder in the SEC champ game, then they don’t show up in the bowl game. Anyone else think something is going on in Athens?

His recruiting has been fire the last two seasons. They will be young again but super talented. Plus a junior, proven QB and the defense will be better.

In your honest opinion, is Pruitt in over his head? We don't have the personnel to run his Bama offense and we aren't gonna beat anyone in the SEC if we continue on the path we're on now {scoring 20 points a game}. It's kinda like a catch 22 type thing. Get someone in here who gives us the opportunity to score early and often. I wouldn't mind us winning 45 to 37 every time out.

To say that someone is in over their head suggests an incurable situation. He may be beyond his experience now, but Pruitt strikes me as well capable of growing into the role. Given that Fulmer is strongly invested in the outcome, it really doesn't worry me. LA Vol may have an informed position that differs, but I think everyone is getting far too worried about this OC search.

He produced 2 3500 yard passers at ARKANSAS in the SEC west. one was Brandon Allen who passed for 2000 yards the year before and 1500 the year before that. He’s literally known for being a good QB coach

They both run similar offenses, Sark on the other hand has people complaining about his creativity, or lack thereof.

And Lebby’s resumes are close to Enos?
Good qb coach is a lot more accurate than amazing with QBs. And I'm not the biggest sark fan but his resume blows enos out of the water. Lebby has been involved in some truly prolific offenses at Baylor, southeastern and UCF as either co-coordinator or full coordinator. And will likely be a hot candidate sooner than later. And I actually am hoping we don't hire him because I'm also a UCF fan and like what he's doing there. I'd be happy with it but think we are also in on other good candidates as well. So I can have good ocs at both places as a fan. Haha

Chaney absolutely sucked in the bowl game. He fumbled the ball multiple times and missed wide open touchdowns all night

Out talents? Did you forget his time at Pittsburgh? Or at Purdue with Brees.

Chaney is very underated I think, he has also had success with Spread & Pro-Style offenses. I will take him back in a heartbeat!

I know of a few Boyntons. Tall fellows. I am over in Spencer and worked with a lot of Bledsoe and Crossvegas boys. Played softball back in the day with a lot over that way.

Yep I know them. Johnny's cousins. Very big men for back in the day. Bennett is the one I remember playing softball the most as a kid. Anyway Johnny was an All American at UT back in the 70's and went on to play for the Dolphins. Just found it interesting your so close.

On a side note-----did anyone see where the "Big Money Booster" who runs UCLA athletics, wants to hire Rick Pitino as their BB coach? UCLA has been down so long that they just want to win and Pitino can be the guy to do that out there.

With that said, where is Bobby Petrino? Let's ride :cool::cool:

Yeah also have family over there. Some good friends and good times in bloody Bledsoe. A lot don't know what that even means but it used to be a real thing.
