There is no way you can bank on that. With his inexperience he might lose Pruitt’s trust as quickly as Helton did and we could be back in the same situation next year. Both scenarios are equally foreseeable.
Can't really bank on anything.
I'm always surprised at the number of proven coaches and position coaches that fail at new stops each year.

You are ignoring the (what seems obvious to me) fact that if your QB has a bad day...you are completely screwed...at least it seems obvious to me.
Seems to me that every team encounters that problem

alot of these guys have been running the four main plays in airraid since 7th grade

when they get to college they are already prepared with 3 to 6 years of experience running y cross, mesh, 4 verts, and 95 as well as some rpo and inside and outside zone

so they've been training in this system for years

No, but you can typically put more faith in actual data, like how Sark’s college offenses improved every year, than half-baked intangibles.

That said, I agree that the intangible of “fit” is important here.

not only will we talk ourselves into it, we'll be disappointed when it doesnt happen.

this isn't our first day, we know how to do this.

At this point when it’s this far down the list why not just offer George Quarles?

Lebby has 1 year playcalling experience right? Just gamble at this point.

Lebby spent 2 seasons at Baylor as the passing game coordinator & offensive recruiting coordinator in this role when Baylor had their 22 ranked class. And by all accounts was the OC at UCF (so 2 seasons calling plays).

I feel like people don't know much about him because he doesn't have a Wikipedia page lol

2008-2011 offensive quality control guy
2012-2016 RB coach 5 seasons with 5 1k RBs
2015-2016 passing game coordinator & offensive recruiting coordinator
2017 OC at Southeastern Fire
2018 QB/OC at UCF

with the very wide offensive line splits in the airraid, it is easier to run inside
Didn't work out that way a lot for UK against us back in the day when Mumme was the boss. If the QB had a bad day against a great defense they got drilled...of course they lit up some folks.

Besides some folks butthurt impatience...What in the hell difference is it making?

I don't get that either. What if we wait see who he hires and then we can have another 10,000 of debate between those who hate it and those who love it. That should get us to signing day and then that will get us to Spring practice and then...... well you guys get the picture. It will be Football Time In Tenn, before we know it!!
