Tee has a better resume than 99% of OCs available.
If it's on staff it should be Osovet.
Stop using a job saving demotion against him. Their defense was the problem.
His team scored 35 in a loss with two backup qbs playing for him. They had almost 300 yards passing 3 tds and no ints that game but gave up 38.
Four of their five highest scoring games last year Tee was OC. Helton was trying to save his own butt. Tee did well at USC.
He has a better resume than Friend, Lebby, Enos who Saban hired, and a ton more.
USC in 2017 was the number 1 offense in the PAC 12. They put up 6777 total yards, 484 YPG, 299 PYG, and 185 RYG, and 32.6 PPG.
Now that was with Co-OCs Tee Martin and Tyson Helton.
USC in 2018, Tee's lone year as OC, dropped to 11th, that's a huge damn drop. 4591 total yards, 344 YPG, 249 PYG, and 133 RYG, 26.1 PPG. There is nothing about those stats that say Tee Martin has a better resume than 99% of OCs available.
But just for argument sake.
Friend as OC
2015, Ranked 3 in offense in Mountain West, 5536 total yards, 426 YPG, 228 PYG, 197 RYG, 29.6 PPG
2016, Ranked 3 in offence, 6012, total yards, 434 YPG, 229, PYG, 204 RYG, 35.9 PPG,
2017, Ranked 1 in offense, 6402 total yards, 492 YPG, 292 PYG, 200 RYG, 33.4
So already we can see his offense continued to improve, and because I know the whole "Well Bobo called all the plays" argument will come out. This year Colorado Stated dropped to 7 ranked offense, 4926 total yards, 411 YPG, 304 PYG, 105 RYG, and 22.8 PPG. They dropped hard.
Jeff Lebby as OC
2018, Ranked 2 in offense in AAC, 6795 total yards, 523 YPG, 257 PYG, 265 RYPG, 43.2 PPG. Not bad for a first year OC in a D1 school compared to last years stats, they didn't drop much overall and actually improved their running attack, all in all they didn't skip a bit, which is good considering he was a first time OC at a D1 program.
2017 UCF, 6896 total yards, 530 YPG, 331 PYG, 198 RYG, 48.2 PPG
Dan Enos as OC at Arkansas, his most recent stop as OC
2015, Ranked 3 in offense in SEC, 6051 total yards, 465 YPG, 268 PYG, 197 RYG, 35.9 PPG
2016, Ranked 8 in offense in SEC, 5569 total yards, 428 YPG, 264 PYG, 164 RYG, 30.3 PPG
2017, Ranked 10 in offense in SEC, 4481 total yards, 373 YPG, 205 PYG, 168 RYG, 28.8 PPG
His offense regressed all three years, but never once did his offense drop more than 5 spots in total offense. Even in his worst offensive year he was still better than Tee in three offense categories, Yards per game, Rushing yards per game and points per game.
So.........of the four, Tee is the worst. This is facts. Tee Martin does not have a better resume than these three guys, let alone 99% of available OCs out there. If anything this shows that Tee is no where near ready to be an OC at a big time school.
