We're not waiting to announce a hire. We're waiting to see who the HC thinks is the right fit so we can offer and sign him.
and the funny thing is that it would be more profitable to college football IMO if you had more parityI think the NCAA had a new crop of Cinderellas ready to roll when folks started running the hurry-up/no huddle offenses. Sumlin/Manziel, Freeze, and Malzahn ate Bama's vaunted D alive with it. However, rather than forcing Old Man Saban to adapt or kick rocks, they changed the rules under the guise of "safety."
It was the one strategy that neutralized Bama's stockpile of talent, and they just couldn't have that stand for very long.
Yeah I wish they had experience hiring guys or like football knowledge or something!
I think this is a pretty accurate assessment.Considering most of the better coaches on CPF’s staff were holdovers from Majors’ staff, I am not sure he is as great at hiring as you are crediting him. Pruitt filled his staff with 1st year coordinators when he was an inexperienced head coach. Some of Fulmer’s most well known outside the staff hires turned out to cause major issues: Trooper Taylor and Dave Clawson. Matt Luke came over with David Cutcliffe. Fulmer is more well known for holding onto coaches too long and being adverse to change. Pruitt has proven very little with his hires.

This is just my opinion but I think the national perception of TN is so bad right now that its more than Pruitt hasnt decided what or who he wants but coaches dont want to come here and ruin their careers

Meant to ask you, do you think Enos is even an option? I thought he was locked up at Bama.It wouldn't be surprising to see some internal reshuffling. Pruitt has guys he trusts and wants to put in on-field positions. Sark and Enos are known commodities and worked for Saban, so there's a comfort level there. I think Pruitt and Canada would clash. Ditto Chaney. Recruiting is important, but eliminating power struggles and staff discord are essential to a rebuild. We have to have all oars rowing in the same direction. Fulmer has reiterated that.
