We understand you say you know Christopher Russell and that no matter what he wants to be a Vol.

We also understand that you say you talk to him and his family. There is no reason to keep posting back and forth about Christopher’s commitment unless his status changes from “Tennessee” we understand that is where he wants to be from what you have said.

I don’t understand the constant let me get an update from the family, etc, etc. I also don’t understand fighting with someone who also claims to be in the know about Russell. If you know you are right then there is no reason to even argue with someone.

Anyways, my rant is over.

Well! I’m done with it. Forked Deer can tell you what he wants, but I know different. From now on I’ll update if a change has occurred, in which there won’t be a change.

His family went through some rough times during the signing period and Christmas time. He was going to visit rocky top, but couldn’t get up here. His parents and Christopher was so excited during that time. He was going to sign early but things unfortunately, just didn’t go right. Don’t worry, he is coming back up here to visit. He will sign Feb. 6th, and nothing has changed for him being a vol.

OD, you sound like a jealous, possessive girlfriend. Forked Deer has been around a while. Nothing wrong with pointing out other schools recruiting Chris. I happen to have a family member who is a coach at a school recruiting him. I know they'd love to have him. Doesn't mean I am not a Vol fan. Just speaking the truth.

I'm from Dyersburg. I can name people having coffee at Big Boy Junction. I have farm land down near Tiger Tail. I know one of Chris's relatives (not going to call her). But I do know what he was wearing recently as reported by one of MY family members who knows him. Not up on the sewer project - guess I'd better call home and check in on that. A lot of people in Dyersburg know things.......it's not a big place. Even those of us who live away still hear things.

This is just beyond stupid.

I don’t doubt that you are from Dyersburg, but I’m not being obsessive. It’s just I’ve never seen him wearing anything else, except Tennessee gear. Every time I’ve been around, it has always been the Vols. My argument has been that from day one. Yes, I know Dyersburg inside and out, but all of this back and forth has been crazy, but we will see where this thread goes.

We must have I guess. Dyersburg is a political place, no matter what happens. To me, it is to political. If you aren’t associated with Dyer Co., then it can get rough politically here. Even down to a murder case, politics gets involved, even with potholes on the roads is political to do them or not. Let me tell you this as well, there has been new aldermans elected in the city, and two of them are about fixing the potholes, but our city mayor has cancelled two meetings within two months, because of the potholes. That is how political Dyersburg is.

Because it has been a long time that a football player from Dyersburg has been in this position, to have big offers like this. I can’t remember the last time that it has happened. Maybe, some of these other Dyersburg people can give you the last time it has happened.

Because everyone's an expert on their hometown. When there are two opinions that don't jive, there's needless conflict.

And apparently there are two adults who are hounding a prospect's family on where the kid is going to college. Just let it be. Don't tweet at recruits. Don't corner them in Wal-Mart. Don't be that guy.

And because there's no Waffle House in Dyersburg, only Huddle House.

His stock is going to rise, Forked Deer. I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes a 4* or a high 5* before long. The trending is headed that way. If you are who you say you are, then you know for yourself like me, that he plays like a 5* anyways on the field.

A high 5* you say...?

How will his stock rise with the season over and not in any all star games? Is there some political motives to get the potholes fixed at play here? Raise him to a 5* and get the pot holes fixed?

Agreed. Granted they could technically make him a 4* but I think they would of already have done that in the last update.
