You're leaving out that the SEC usually gets matched up against teams that finished higher in their conference and have better records.

Exactly. Getting left out of the playoff is the best thing that could possibly happen to UCF. They have a legit shot to go undefeated two years in a row instead of getting annihilated by Bama. They can parlay that into recruiting and program-building without the momentum-crushing devastation of a 40-point loss to a juggernaut.

He CAN. I floated his name when Atlanta was doing the “traveler” Ghostbusters reference with StayPuft. Dotted a lot of i’s but I got talked out of it...so color me surprised if so. Reminds me a little of Chavis leaving LSU for A&M. His contract was ending too.

Has Georgia hired a DC yet?

I think the difference would be that if we were waiting to hire a DC with CJP background in being a DC there would be no hurry or worry. But I guess that's more an issue of my worries than a need to hire an OC. I still believe no one is waiting in line to become our OC and I'm not sure why.

I like JG. I think he's a quality kid. I think he's got the physical tools. I just don't think he's got that "it" factor. I think his limitations are between his ears. I'm not sure whether it's because of his lack of/inconsistent coaching, or he just doesn't have the genetic makeup. For his own sake, if he can't get it done here, I hope he does transfer to a place he can succeed. Like I said, he's a quality kid that's worked his tail off and has taken a beating on many occasion for his efforts. I'm pulling for him regardless of whether it's here or somewhere else.
