Wright is a powerful player and won just about every one on one rep that we saw. He’s patient, doesn’t lunge or overset and had the most dominant win of the day putting his man on his back. Wright is rated the No. 10 prospect nationally in the 247Sports Composite and is definitely pushing for five-star status by 247Sports. Tennessee currently leads Alabama and Ohio State in the Crystal Ball forecast.

It's a joke at this point. #2 top offensive performance on 247 and called dominant yet rivals toying around like he might have struggled

Odd, similar thing happened to Scout, about the time when Scott Kennedy and Jamie Newberg left. People started fleeing Scout for Rivals. Not bc of those guys. They're jokes.

247 is the flavor of the month, i guess.

247 rankings are just better, they have better national guys like Barton and Witflong etc. If you don’t participate in the Rivals 5 star challenge then they discredit you(see Eric Gray). They also put more stock into the players that participate in the UAAA game over the Army AA guys. It’s laughable how bias it is over there

This. Rivals was the top recruiting site until about 2015 at which time most of the Rivals guys had already been poached by 247. Most of the relationships with high school coaches and players are just better at 247 now and Rivals is left relying heavily on their "own-brand" camps...which is the reason for their heavy bias.

Wow! Stellar reviews for Wright. Really hope we land this dude! What a boost to recruiting it will be for next year if all of our new OL signees show up and show out next fall...

Forgive me if I'm still a little gun-shy about all of those accolades...still trying to figure out how K-Mac looked so good in his 1 on 1s and then flopped so bad here.

But today is a new day--come on down to K-town, DW, and be a part of the Big Orange resurgence to championships! GO VOLS!

Notice where I said...IF? I don't really expect him to do that, but I have had nagging doubts about this dude being a Vol since the beginning. His refusal to commit makes no sense if he really is a silent, and before you start, I know the arguments so just save it.
