Pretty sure both sides deserve a little blame. The coaches should have done a better job keeping the players focused and the players should have kept up the intensity. Hank is wrong that the coaches deserve the blame and Ulysses is wrong that all the players are soft quitters. But they're both a little right.

There. Can we stop with this now and help me find something to do in Glendale tomorrow night please. Haha

I completely agree that Pruitt deserves blame. But how much? Take the Vandy game. You think the players didnt know that that game was the difference between a bowl game and none? You think they didnt know that a loss would be the first time since the 20's that Vandy would have a 3 game win streak? I am sorry but I have a hard time believing they didnt know these things. Now, do you think Pruitt didnt know those things as well? Do you think he just went oh well guys its just another game and give it your best and if we lose its no. Big deal?

My big thing is I dont know who deserves the most blame. Its easy and convenient to blame it most,y on Pruitt. He is the HC and is getting paid millions of dollars. But thats not fair to place the majority of the blame on Pruitt imo. There is literally no way to force players to play a certain way, care or become motivated. Especially if they just dont want to and will not buy in. We heard from players that other players didnt buy into Pruitt. How is that his fault? I would assume Pruitt wants to win and make TN a great team. So why wouldnt a player want that?

I was at that game yesterday. Mullen has done wonders with Frank's, got him under control. He was dominant yesterday. Another think I noticed was Michigan was out of control. Coaching was a issue with Michigan. I sat around about 98% Michigan fans and at the end if the 3rd quarter they started leaving. Amazing that a host of them lived locally.
Didn't Michigan also have several starters that skipped the game to prepare for the draft?

I am more than a little right about that.
You go a little far with it man. Did some quit? Probably. Were they all soft heartless quitters or whatever other names you call them? No. Does it matter who wins this argument and will that affect the team going forward? 100% no.

Lmao...Mullen just won 10 games in his 1st year at UF with about the same type of talent that the our Vols have. Also...had a worse starting QB. Just destroyed a top 10 team in their bowl game....but you wouldn't of wanted him as our coach...lol..ok.
Idk man Bass said that wasn’t impressive and UF had sooooo much talent

They had a couple. Florida whipped them on the line of scrimmage. I had to make a comment that "I heard Harbough was going to the NFL" that went over well lol

No they were not all, I agree with that, but it was obviously a big enough group that the true Vols on the team couldn't overcome their disposition.

Just stop. They have the same talent? Lol. You must be joking. Lets break it down. What players on our offense would start for UF? Nobody on the OL. TEs? Zero. WRs? Maybe Jennings but I dont think even he would. RBs? Possible Chandler. QBs? I want to say JG but thats a toss up.

Defense? I mean are you kidding me? Maybe, maybe Taylor. Thats it. So at best what, 5 guys on our starting line would start for UF? And even that number is up for debate. Just use your eyes, do we have anywhere near the team speed of UF? Absolutely not and havent for years. Even at their worst, UF won 3 conference games. How many did we win at our worst?

This whole Mullen inherited a team even remotely bad as what Pruitt did is beyond laughable and just false.

I am more than a little right about that.
So what about all the other players that did buy in? That didn’t quit? That gave their all? You just throw them under the bus just because a minority of players gave less than 100%?

So how would you react if HH or someone else blamed Pruitt for Helton having one foot out the door and said Pruitt didn’t care the final games?
