But he finished all the games and chose not to play in the bowl game. I don't consider that quitting. By these terms, it should be an epidemic of mass players choosing not to play in meaningless bowl games. Now we all know Vic would have played if he were an underclassman but as a 5th year SR....the risk is to great. Soooooo did Will Grier quit West Virginia? Soooooo did Christian McCaffrey quit Stanford? Soooooo Ed Oliver quit Houston? Soooooo Deebo Samuel quit South Carolina? And N'Keal Harry quit Arizona State?

Players in New Year’s Six bowls are doing the same, with at least three Michigan Wolverines not playing in the Peach Bowl. It’s not even just a bowl game thing at this point. Ohio State’s Nick Bosaannounced midseason that he wouldn’t attempt to battle back from injury just to play in college games again.

Former Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith tore his ACL and LCL in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl, and it cost him several million dollars.

Football is a business, even though players aren’t paid until the NFL. Sitting out a bowl game is about protecting millions of dollars or even thousands.

Vic getting drafted? Good for him if it happens. I didn’t realize he was that coveted. You listed All-Americans.

TN is a top 20 program right now. Come on.

I would say the following programs are ahead of UT and have been more relevant over the last decade:
FSU
Clemson
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas A and M
Georgia
Auburn
LSU
Alabama
Florida
Oregon
Washington
Ohio State
Michigan
Michigan State
Notre Dame
West Virginia
Wisconsin

Maybe?
Mississippi
Mississippi State
Missouri
Virginia Tech
USC
South Carolina
Texas
Penn State
TCU

I mostly eat 80/20 ground beef but will eat some cheese, pork and chicken.
$3.08 a lb for brisket at sams club. For me, can’t beat the price and it makes it more paletable. I started with ground, but quickly got burnt out. I still eat ground about twice a week.

Better teams, sure.

West Virginia and Wisconsin are not better programs.

Of your maybes, Texas and USC are better programs. Penn State is on our level and the rest are not close.

What? That’s not a negative thing. We are a top 15 program. There’s nothing wrong with saying that. I’m a huge jets fan but there’s nothing wrong with saying the patriots are a better organization
Acceptance of mediocrity is when you really truly become mediocre. I've been negative for awhile because our admin tried to drive the program off a cliff, but it gets my blood and fight up when you losers start spouting your "accept our place, and realize we suck as a program, and no way we can compete with true royalty like OSU" garbage...that ******** makes me wanna puke..your attitude makes me wanna puke.
