I use a 2-2-1 method when I smoke ribs. Meaning do 2 hrs without foil and telegenic two hrs inside of foil and then the last hr out of foil. The meat will be falling off of the bones.Pretty nice here in Mid. TN. Got some baby back ribs about ready to smoke. Gonna put a Memphis dry rub on them and have them ready for this evening and then cheer on the Titans. Any smoke masters out there with any special tips?
No, I thought we had to get a really good coach that could recruit really well quickly. Even with a coach like that it was going to be harder to climb out of the hole we are in considering we were at the very bottom. And considering the discontent of boosters with the administration not willing to get a coach like that, they were going to stop giving their support. Former players like Hayesworth saying publicly the DL did not even know how to line up then after the whole coaching search fiasco saying he may have to become a Clemson fan because he could at least still wear orange.....we just seemed to be way more desperate. So going into last years search you thought we were screwed even if we did get a good coach?
Not being a smartass, I’m genuinely asking bcuz you disagreed and then said you felt we’d be ok after Dooley if we hired a good coach.
I think this is probably true - with the caveat that the Ohio State opening could change things. The fact that it’s coming out now makes me believe he’s already accepted it. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be hearing anything at this point from either side. The timing just doesn’t make sense considering they met 2 weeks ago
If his ultimate goal is to be a HC in the Midwest, I would think being the "glorified" Ohio State OC would go farther to attain it than the OC at Tennessee for the next two years. Because the Ohio State offense is going to put up a lot of points regardless - I'm not sure that's the case here in the immediate future.Ryan Day ain’t letting go of that offense. He’d be a glorified QB coach there. But Ohio ties are Ohio.
Worked for Schiano. If his ultimate goal is to be a HC in the Midwest, I would think being the "glorified" Ohio State OC would go farther to attain it than the OC at Tennessee for the next two years. Yeah - I'm just not sure if that does or doesn't apply here.
Exactly. No one gets offered a contract until they have accepted.
