There have been runs or dynasties in every college sport where the opposing teams or fans have felt it will never end (i.e. Wooden, Rupp, Neyland, Bryant, etc). If you are saying the bowl game system or the CFP series is killing college football, that’s a different discussion. I’m simply stating that there is no reason to discuss the 1% in college athletics as things change continuously. We should go get it as a football program rather than look for ways to hurt those on top...for now as they will eventually come down.

UCF needs legit P5 schools on the schedule way more than the other way around, they’re gonna have to compromise.

The Florida deal was great for them. Gave them 3 opportunities at a big boy (which is what they claim they want) and even have one in Orlando. Me thinks they don’t really want to actually schedule a big boy.

I would be okay with that deal but the AD is right, why would a top 10 team agree to that. UCF has been the better team the past 2 years. He's trying to use any leverage he currently has to force a balanced agreement. Do a home home neutral site.

It's not about money. Florida makes plenty of money and will get their home game money regardless. They don't wanna give up home field advantage and risk a loss. Florida only offered it because they got called out for their ad being on the playoff committee and ducking UCF in the peach bowl. We get Stanford next year so hopefully that helps a little.

Like I said before though. I don't really have a problem with who they put in the playoffs the last 2 years. It's that they have made it clear that no g5 schools will ever be considered. Which makes it nearly impossible for them to keep really good coaches for more than a year or 2. And try to build something lasting. I just hope they can either get in a p5 conference soon or they expand the playoffs to see if these schools can actually compete.

By the way, since the bcs began there have been 10 bcs/ny6 games that involved a p5 vs a g5. G5 are 7 and 3 in those games. UCF is 2 and 0.

Lol because i don’t think Butch is the worst coach in the history of college football and because i don’t make every excuse for and follow Pruitt like a sheep? I like Pruitt, but he did good things and bad things in his first year. Don’t know why it’s so hard to admit that.
