Back in college during Greek intramural flag football, me and this other guy collided and I had a solid 5-6 gash in my head complete with squirting blood. So one of the fraternity brothers drove me to the ER and when I finally got back, looking like I came out of a horror movie, they said they had to staple the wound shut. They gave me two options, numb the area and then do it or just do it. I asked how many staples, they said 8. I said how many times you gonna poke me for the numbing stuff? they said 20-30. I elected to just take the staples raw. That hurt. As I'm swearing like Gucci when hes had one to many flights of craft beer, I noticed a crucifix to my left and had to apologize to the lord :(

Usually one team has no desire to show up to these bowl games. That's a problem but not as bad as when both teams have no desire to be there like last night

Lawrence ain’t lost a dime. Not because of this. Just avoided a potential injury. He shows out at the Combine and stays clean right before it, and he’ll bank.

It's gonna get worse. Kids have no interest in playing in these meaningless lower-tier and often cold-weather bowls. The only time a team gets pumped up to play in one is when they are full of young talent and the team hasn't been to one in a while (i.e., our dismantling of Iowa in Jax) or when it's a G5 team playing a blue blood P5 team that had a bad season or is slightly vulnerable.

Yeah you can be put to sleep. My brother is like Jethro strong but can't stand the site of a needle so he was put to sleep for his. When I had mine done, the doc had a female assistant he talked thru the procedure. Had it done on a Friday. Me and the wife get to church that Sunday morning and, lo and behold, that same lady was the door greeter. I started snickering as we walked on in and had to explain to my wife why I was so tickled. Then, when the main service started, that same lady was doing sign for the deaf. My wife nudges me and whispers that she was probably telling all those deaf about snipping my nuts!
