@volatil .... the wife is going back to school for her NP, likely at Carson Newman (completely online is her preference).

Question...how much stress should I expect for the next 2.5 years?

And FWIW, I know that I was stressed when I went through my masters but, let's be honest, it wasn't an NP program.

So you think we have our guy? And are just waiting why

There are a lot of searches out there that you can wonder why wait as well not just TN. Oklahoma has been without a DC since mid season. Bama still hasn't officially announced Enos and Enos dodged those questions yesterday when asked about a promotion. That Enos/Bama on non announcement is oddest one of them all

Media jumped the gun on Enos?

Probably not. It could just be waiting until Locksley is officially no longer calling plays. Just seems odd as that is seems like it wouldn't be any issue at all to just name him now. Saban has his reasons I guess. Pruitt seems to be similar in he never really announced a lot of hires until they were already working for a while

I’m not Volatil, but my wife is an NP. She graduated with her masters 9 years ago. She was stressed to the max. Hope you have some hobbies lol

Yeeaaah. I figured. She's a perfectionist, was valedictorian in high school, graduated with like a 3.7+ GPA (I did too but, my degrees are in Criminal Justice--not that hard), and said that she nearly cried when she made a B in her Junior year--first time she'd ever made one.

She's my rock and fully supported me when I completed my degrees in the last decade. I'm 100% supportive...just...wondering how much stress I should expect.

Me too. Most people don’t leave NFL jobs for college jobs. They are much better for quality of life and pay.

Peteino, Shottenheimer, Saban, Harbaugh are just a few I can think of off the top of my head that opted for college jobs over NFL opportunities in recent years. Not saying that Sark or Kitchens will choose us or anything, I just don’t think you can count any candidate out just because they may have NFL opportunities as well.

And this is where we disagree. You can have blind faith in first time AD and HC but I’ll choose to go with not only our allotment of distinguished and connected media but any potential candidates staff, circle, media, agent etc.... Nothing has been going on with the search. If they were...SOMEONE would have a peep about it.

Freeze was the guy, it got the boot. Briles wasn’t a fit and yurcich rejected our offer. That’s it so far.
When and what did we offer Yurcich?

All head coaching gigs, not OC, except for Shott who did one year at Georgia before going right back to the NFL.
