I don't think losing him would have been a backbreaker, because it'd ultimately be up to Pruitt&Co to keep that standard high between S&C coaches. BUT I feel way better about keeping Fitz than having to replace him. That's for sure.

Agreed. Much better to hang on to him. Pruitt knows where he needs his players to be from a S&C standpoint. He'd find the right guy if needed. A little consistency is great
