For perspective, we still seem to be on track for what was generally expected when Pruitt was hired, with the 2020 class projected to be when we'd really have recruiting going strong.

And that makes sense. With each successive class, Pruitt & co. will have had one more year to build relationships with those recruits and high schools, and sell UT to them.

@Atlanta VOL don't listen to him!

But I am right you know 😂

If we get Gray, Wright, and Crouch this class is superb, imo. Only questionable take is the WR we took today. However, he camped so I will trust Pruitt on that one.
Pruitt said they really liked Means when he camped. Said he's big at 213lbs and very athletic, could play defense. But said they would start him out at WR. So sounds like he's just a very good athlete, big and fast, and once on campus they'll find a home for him.

Yeah, I never got the people saying we had to finish top 10 this year ir else. It's not going to change overnight. The more like Morris we get the better and the faster. Nobody can say the coaches are not trying. They swung for the fence for ESD, and we missed on some. Let's see how it finishes, and please quit expecting to compare with GA and AL right now.

I’m not talking about our class, just the early signing day for the NCAAF.
Just speeds everything up. Not sure how good it is for the programs yet.

I think it's probably better for the players. You take a guy like Jamie pettaway who wanted to come here... And maybe he could have IF things happened that allowed it to. Instead he doesn't have to wait. He has options and is able to secure a spot now. May not be his first choice but he's not left hanging in the wind come February looking fur a landing spot.

a lot of big, strong, tough guys.

If we can substitute outright talent for toughness then this class will be looked at as the foundation.

Forgive me for skipping the past 34 pages, but I’ve got limited battery the next 36 hours while traveling and know it’s 90% tears and moans from ESD.

Can anyone give me anything worth hearing from the last 8 hours?

Thanks

“Lost” Clemons to Memphis
Didn’t flip anyone
Didn’t sway any uncommitted
Signed everybody we thiught
QC is signing but announcing later
Fitz staying after all
Pruitt doesn’t think OCs are necessary 😆

What mills said, plus things are looking up for Crouch.

Days like this make me wary of counting chickens before they hatch (also like when Pappoe re-affirmed his commitment to Auburn).. BUT Clemson inked a full class, which bodes well on that front. Hoping for Gray to make it official tomorrow, and then we can sit on our hands until the second week of February.
