and for the record, after last night, i'm ok with the panthers looking for another QB. i think Cam has peaked as QB and he is just what he is at this point. if he's not physically able to affect the game as a runner, it affects everything else he does negatively....and he's still just not a very good pocket passer. he's gotten better, his accuracy is better this year, but you saw some of hte throws he missed last night....were just BAAAAD.....Umm unless it is to discuss him coming here or laughing at UGA's luck can we save the transfer debate for the real dead season? Currently we have recruiting, OC's, Coyotes, and Cam Newton on the schedule.
Is that a bad thing? If someone is changing jobs in hopes to better themselves/family then they should.
99% of the time company’s, corporations, schools, etc aren’t going to be loyal to an employee..they are about the bottom dollar. Word of advice never choose loyalty to a job over betterment of yourself/family.
NFL players are under contract, they can't just up and leave while under contract.
What if he goes to another school and gets beat out? Should he just be able to pack up and try another team? When does some of the responsibility fall on the player? He did choose to go to a team with freshman QB that beat out another pretty dang good upperclassmen. He should have to bare some responsibility for make g the choice to go to GA to begin with. If you open this up for immediate eligibility for transfers without a legitimate hardship reason, it will be the biggest cluster fudge that college football has ever seen.
It’s not what I am seeing. I am only in a small office, but turnover in a lower paying job is unbelievable. I don’t think people leave after one or two days because they got another job. They just don’t like it. It appears some would rather not work at all than work an hourly job. It’s also about doing the same job for a period of time- I think attention spans have changed.
Like I said, I would love to see a study on it. But you always have an answer, Hank.
Well when you’re getting called N***** in 2018 at your home stadium especially... it’s a problem. Their fans are also making an ass out of themselves bashing fields while wishing Eason luck and talking about how much of a class act he was.

Stop. Eason was quiet and didn't disrupt locker room along with his family. Fields and family have been more vocal than they should have been in season. And it wasn't because someone called him that name
this guy.Who does Georgia got coming in at QB in this '19 class? Might want to rethink it...
I agree with you. People are definitely changing jobs more. I’m asking do you think it’s a bad thing for the people as a whole.
they are both transferring and no one knows what going on in that locker room. I’m sure Eason and family weren’t happy go lucky watching their son/self get his job taken.
Pro players/coaches are completely different. They are under a mutually bargained contract. The player/coach can ask, change, alter etc what is being offered to them. A scholarship for a player isn’t like that. Especially when a coach can give you a git shirt when you’re under that scholarship, for simply not being good enough. Especially when a new coach comes in like Vitello did that to several baseball players. It happens to players in every sport.
And a LOI isn't a contract?
I am all for open transfer, if another school is willing give you a scholarship then absolutely take it if you aren’t happy where you are. The NCAA is getting there by developing the transfer data base which will help a lot. This is what i would push for:
-players can enter the transfer data base at anytime (let’s other schools know they are wanting to transfer and seeking a scholarship)
-players cannot transfer or talk to other schools in season. Say like February1st - August1st would be an open window.[
So you would like to burn college football to the group? That's completely assanine and would ruin college football. Just like the one and done in basketball, fans will never be able to identify with a team/players. As soon as a coach says something mean, a player will pack his bags and put his name on the list.

He was harrassing fields during the game. Then some other student posted it on fb, caught wind. The assailant (uga baseball player) gets kicked off team and the rest is history...With media coverage? Or recounted story. And it’s a “hardship” because these goobers exist on a campus of 30,000 students?
