Tyson Helton is busy taking over a program as a first time HC he's not voluntarily picking up the phone to badmouth Jeremy Pruitt to possible OC candidates. That sounds so made up lol

If he bad mouths Pruitt, by extension he bad mouths the whole coaching staff. Their livelihoods are on the line too. He's not going to burn all of those bridges.

Why would he care about burning bridges for a guy he didn’t get along and disliked enough to take a huge pay cut to get away from? He has no reason to protect Pruitt - and he’s telling the truth to people who call him. That much is clear.

Listen to the podcast and you will here that it is not only possible that he’s talking to people, but it’s happening. He may be calling people, not sure, but he is taking calls according to them

If true, VERY unprofessional and good he's gone. Honestly I find it hard to believe. Even if you're telling the truth Doing this, IMO, would do serious damage to your reputation.

It’s all assumed drama. This goes both ways. We assume Coach X is involved and site goes crazy.

I think we are just DONE with hearsay and speculation. Just show us a name after they sign. Until then... yoga pants

There’s a difference between Helton badmouthing UT and honestly answering questions about his experience at UT. If OC candidates ask him about working with Pruitt, the state of the rebuild, the talent he had to work with, the group dynamics of the staff, the pressure/hours of the job and the grind of the SEC, he should give candid answers. Anybody unwilling to deal with the reality of the situation or what it takes to fix it isn't the right guy for the job. It's better all around if they find that out upfront.
