Could lend itself to Sark, but that seems like an arbitrary constraint to put on yourself when all you want is a good culture fit and recruiter.Yeah, I don’t know if McClendon is interested in the job. But the recruiting angle is one we haven’t really talked about previously.
Focusing on Briles, Lebby and Yurcich, even though we don’t seem to be hiring any of them, leads me to believe Pruitt is looking for a recruiter with Southwestern ties.
Kitchens before it’d be Sark
Holy triple post, Batman!Sark makes some sense in that Pruitt has exactly one year of experience with him, 2016 Alabama. He was an analyst like Butch until Kiffin was fired heading into the championship game. They lost of course, but I am not sure you could blame Sark for that.
He has not done well at Atlanta so that could be reason to consider or take our offer. Atlanta dropped 10 points per game in production his first year I believe.

Agree. I would caution folks thinking this is our basement though.I don’t know enough about Kitchens to make that call. I do know that Atlanta underachieved this year and will be looking for a scapegoat. Atlanta’s offense fell off a lot after super bowl (Sark’s first year), but it’s been better this year. Defense is their problem this year, but I don’t think they will fire their head coach (defense guy).
Sark can recruit, has a relationship with Pruitt, and has some SEC experience (granted it was as an analyst).
We could make a worse hire
