What I’m saying is that we were never going to get him if Saban wanted to keep him, but if we thought he would be a good hire and there was a chance that Saban would let him go, it was worth waiting to see. Especially since it doesn’t look like we have missed on any other target while we were waiting for Enos, if that is in fact what we were doing.

I never saw Trubisky’s case as a one and done...but I misunderstood your point.

This doesn’t make sense. He has one more year to play and put tape out there to try and make his dream come true for his himself and take care of his family financially. You would rather him stay at Houston and not play?

What lesson do you believe this would teach him that outweighs any of those things I said above?

Don't disagree but my point is he's not worth holding your search hostage for. He may be great but to me there are many more, qualified candidates.
