Haha still no reason to go to Oklahoma
Was out there 15 years back. Landed in OKC, picked up our rental car, and got ready to drive to our destination about 3 hours away. Thought "I'll get out the of the city, then stop on the outskirts for lunch". Hit the city limit...then nothing. Completely nothing. No suburban buffer. City...then tumbleweeds. Stopped in McAlester and finally found a small home cooking place...where everyone stares at you, because clearly you aren't from here. Drove further, got off the 'big road' and then drove for over 50 miles on an *unpaved* road. How is that possible? Almost third world.
In fairness, the locals were nice. But man, I had no concept of how hard the line between civilization and potential death on the prairie was. Kinda creepy.

Could you imagine if Pruitt actually used google to find his OC lolHow Mike Gundy found his offensive coordinator on the internet
For those who didn't get a chance to see or read when I posted this a couple days ago. Interesting article about Yurcich.
We drove to Kansas to see our son return from deployment. Got detoured off the highway and ended up on a two lane road and we drove, and drove and drove. No sign of life whatsoever. Chairs and tools along the way but you couldn't tell the last time someone was there. No cell service. No radio. Was out there 15 years back. I finally asked my husband, "What if the rapture happened and we didn't go?"
