When the OC hire is made, I will be curious what his pay will be. I don't know if UT is looking in the range of $1.2M per year like Helton received but, if so, that could be a deal breaker with anyone being interviewed. They may feel they're being low balled, if the number is less that $1.2M per year.

I've wondered the same thing. Precedence has been set.

I also think Pruitt and Osovet should play some NCAA football and if Osovet wins he is obviously the guy.
I've liked Osovet from the beginning. Pruitt convinced him to give up a very successful head coach position and take an analyst position at UT. Eventually, Pruitt is gonna give him an on field coaching position and I would like to see him as our OC.

Can someone seriously explain why I am reading over in another thread that AL can probably take up to 28-30 kids and they already have like 24? And we are saying we are getting full? I never understand the numbers of this-- GA and AL should be full if they are going by our numbers and was hoping this would help us with a few upper tier kids...

Because they are bama and can do what they want?

I would guess it will not be a Zone read, spread type offensive coordinator where the qb is expected to run a lot. Bailey grew up as a gator fan and would have committed to them if Jim Mac was still there, but like Trevor Lawrence from last year, he does not want to play in a qb running system..imo

Another thread out there with Doug Matthews saying Pruitt has already hires his guy and they are waiting to make announcement until after they're done coaching. I guess Matthews is doubling down on his 95% comment
