Honestly, I welcome all "insider" information whether it's legit or not. For one, it keeps the board alive, which is more entertaining for anyone not stroking out every 2 hours. Second, it gives us a bunch of hypotheticals to discuss.
I dont disagree, but one shouldnt get hammered when they question certain poster like what they say is gospel. In this case, nothing is a for sure and it should be stated that way. Jmo i love the rumors myself also but some i just dont believe

Lol @ Yurich is an A+. I realize that we'll probably get someone of his level or worse and many of you will try and paint it like the second coming of Cutcliffe but Yurich is no closer to an A+ OC hire than my azzhairs.
Agreed, don't even know that about Briles. But on the hand it would be nice to have someone who's called plays at P5 level.

From OK state message board. Familiarity breeds contempt? They universally would be happy to see him go. Something about predictability which seems odd since the offenses put up such good stats.

The funny part of the article is that he believes Yurcich is polarizing. I’m pretty sure the only people who love his offense are also named Yurcich or have a last name that rhymes with Mundy.

He’s not a good OC and everyone knows it. There’s a reason the OU media protect him fellas. There’s a reason the ou trolls constantly point to the flecs of shine in the turd that is his tenure. They want him here. All of this noise about him being a candidate for other jobs is simply that, noise. Nobody wants the guy. I’ll reference his continued presence at OSU as my evidence. He will not be offered any of these jobs and my gut is he isn’t t even a candidate. This is simply the good old boy network asking a friend to put out rumors to boost their tired argument that Yurcich is respected around college football. There is only one way respect is shown in the football world. Promotion. He’s not going to get one anytime soon.

Yurcich isn’t linked to these jobs by anyone outside of Oklahoma media. It’s all fake news. Nobody wants him. Spare me the yards per game nonsense. He isn’t a good recruiter, developer, or play caller. He’s. Lousy OC.

Doubtful. Now, him leaving to take over the Akron job that's right down the road from his hometown? I could see that.
The guy as much as I want him gone, Recruits good QB's (doesn't develop them) and puts up very impressive stats (but is widely predictable and terribly inconsistent). That's the statement I put up on the twitter feed about interest in the TN OC job without the qualifying statements.

"but is widely predictable and terribly inconsistent"

LOL, I was about to say, if you didn't include that tidbit, I was going to call you out on that! Nice save, nice save. I respect your posts, and was about to say, you've decimated his play calling in the past.
I want the guy gone, no secret there. I'm not going to trash him to his (hopefully) future fanbase. I'm unwavering in my thoughts that we could do a hell of a lot better with someone else at his position. As good as last year's team was talent wise we should have fired both coordinators and started over. As inconsistent as this team was I think it's the best time to part ways with him. This is honestly the first time I have ever questioned if Mike Gundy should be the coach. I am back in his corner but he needs to make some changes.

Congrats
Hey guys, quick update. Me and the kids are still living in an RV due to the house getting damage from the hurricane.

But here's the good news.....

I have a hearing on the 17th, to see if the court will let me move the kids out of state. So hopefully Ill be living in Gallatin in less than a month!
Gallatin is a great area, Portland is way better though, IMO.

Ok... lol you don't take over a month to find an OC. Sorry, but you are wrong.
Vandy was 2 wks ago. Say Helton was in the works for a week leading up to it...

So....

Even if I add another week for knowing Helton was leaving, you'd still be wrong.

i hope everyone knows that if this thing goes to 2019, not only will we be getting jack-'ish for a OC, but all that glorious recruiting talk will stall to a crawl. Pruitt knows and prides himself on how important recruiting is, and is the major factor in this rebuild, and will not take a chance in letting it suffer by waiting too long.

With that being said, i am still going with the wait and see approach with who we end up with. If he goes Lebby on us, he's Dooley 2.0 and will be forced out or gone in 2-3, because he too, will be in over his head.

This is our buddy tidal surges thoughts on their OC search on a rival board plus some of his buddies.

Golding is staying too and I think it'll be Enos as OC/QB and Gattis as Co-OC/WR.

Saban has wanted Enos for years, but Arkansas had the clause he couldn’t go to any SEC team. My prediction is Enos to OC, Gattis to CO-OC, and Rich Rod on the staff.

Not A+, but a solid A. Quality resume.
I agree. Would be a good hire.

It definitely feels like Briles is going to end up at FSU and not UT, for whatever reasons. Wondering if Yurcich is going to be the guy or if it's going to take another week or two with new names...
