I believe Pruitt is picking the brains of a lot of these guys trying to find the right fit. Some of them aren’t really interviews, more like trying to get a feel of guys he has interviewed.

I also don’t think we’ve been turned down by anyone and we’ve not made any offers yet.

While I’ve been chatting with you all, I’ve been making some calls and I’ve been told that Mike Yurcich was interviewed yesterday as well.

In an effort to find his man, Pruitt and some of his staff met Yurcich, Briles and Lebby at a central location to interview them seperately.

Clearly he wants to move closer to a decision but having interviewed all three, IMO he is working to find the guy that fits his staff best offensively

On November 17, 2017 you posted it was not only Gruden mania on VN but the talk of the entire complex. That’s what I think I remembered. You did think it was possible at one point but not pushing it big. At times it did seem possible. Think it was being pushed more the first time as far as money people wanting to make it happen.

I think people just want us to reestablish our place above Vandy, Kentucky, SC and Mizzou. 8-4 regular season = 67% win percentage. 8-4 is a reasonable expectation and more than achievable, but also, when you have a roster like Butch did in 2016 you should make a playoff push, and sure as hell not lose to Vandy and miss out on the Sugar Bowl.

For the past two days we’ve heard the top candidates were Briles/Yurcich. We’ve also heard that it would be a selling point to Briles to let him bring a staffer with him. Now all of a sudden those guys were interviewed along with some QB coach who happened to work with Briles (and is his BIL).

Briles and Yurcich are still the top 2, and Leddy was there as part of the Briles deal I think. Especially considering that Price said Pruitt is looking for the “best fit.” If Briles isn’t a fit, neither is Leddy, so he’s redundant as an OC option.
