I just hope briles has some SEC connections to where he can recruit in the SEC maybe even pull some big names for us.

No, what’s foolish is making assumptions about someone with no factual support or even any evidence and trying to keep them from working. Which is what you’re doing.

Briles wasn’t named, wasn’t convicted, or even accused. If his name wasn’t Briles there would be nothing here.

But anyway, for the majority of us, we didn’t want Schiano because he sucks.

I agree that Schiano sucks, but he also was never convicted. Kendal Briles was listed in the lawsuit against Baylor as using sex to sell recruits on Baylor. Know the actual facts before you start your tantrums.

I get that some want Briles because they hope his exciting offense will help us win, but you obviously haven't read much about what really happened, otherwise you'd see the similarities. The only difference is wanting one and not the other.

JAV is back posting some on 247, he has some good insight into Briles offense and Pruitt's thinking, though I'd share a few of his posts from last night...
I'm sold hire Briles. Winning is the most important thing. Maybe Briles can convince Jennings and Callaway to stay as well. We will need them

That's plenty fair

Fair or not those adjustments will be blamed on Pruitt if they don't work

Worth taking a chance imo. He needs someone that can help us catch-up. What I really like is it appears Pruitt is taking into account what offenses gave him the most trouble this yr. I won't include Bama because it's Bama. But Mizzu and South Carolina 2nd half. Both go tempo and both had a spread you out but can run downhill approach. That's a really good sign that Pruitt isn't Butch if he is willing to adjust his system/thinking

They have non-accredited Ph.D programs there. Which is bizzare.

When my wife was scouting where to get hers from she looked into Liberty and found they had cheaper classes. After further digging, turns out not accredited. Like, what’s the point?

Legitimate schools will do that when they start up a new program on the premise that accreditation will follow and when it does your degree is retroactively accredited (e.g. starting up a new law school the accreditation process can take a bit of time). Non-legitimate schools will also do this but they do it just to con people. You have to be careful when looking around.

I mentioned in my original post that he made an inappropriate comment. How about you learn to read before you accuse others of not reading

Face of your program and highest paid person in state vs assistant that will barely get to talk to media.... that's a big difference. Schiano as D.C. Wouldn't have gotten near that backlash imo.

Telling a football player that white women love football players isn't exactly news to anyone. They do... he didn't say they can rape them

This all day long.

Pruitt's made a career of scheming against SEC offenses. We can argue all day long about what works in the SEC, but I'll bet Pruitt knows which styles present the most issues for defense like UGA/LSU/Bama, etc.
