That's a good point.
We will never know but imo we just think Bama is playing faster. They are scoring faster but not playing faster from what I see

There is definitely a fine line for everything. You can’t play too fast but it’s good to play with some pace so you can keep your offense in rythem.

I'll admit, and I'm not being a smart-ass, I missed the point a little myself. My first thought was that over half my crew are veterans, and we all still complain about long days at work.
All long days aren't created equal.

A thing that you also have to look at, those are the best teams in America and for the majority of their 4th quarters they were milking the clock and playing keep away. I would like to see those numbers in the 1st half’s.
That's a great point. Alabama's pace for the SEC Championship game was 23.33 seconds per play, which would've been good for the 27th highest in CFB this year, third in the SEC behind USCe and Mississippi, and about 60 spots higher than their other games might suggest. Considering that was their only competitive game all year, that's probably a better estimate.

Georgia, on the other hand, was a bit faster than the rest of the year, but still around rank 80. And we see how far that got them on Saturday...

Maybe. It sure seemed like the guy was complaining about a long day and then the soldier comes in and pretty much says he doesn’t know what long days are.
it was a lighthearted joke, dudes do that to each other

WAC-level tackling there. No effort. And when the book says “don’t let him stiff-arm you” and not one of the tacklers tries for his hip or legs...I don’t know what to say.

Also, #50 for Jacksonville got dragged to 10 yards.

Briles would simply be the most tone deaf hire that could be made.

Watching you guys jump through the “He was never implicated” hoops for Briles, when just a year ago you were patting yourselves on the back over “Schiano Sunday” is ridiculous. The worst part is most of you don’t care about the hypocrisy of it all.

Like it or not the Schiano debacle changed things for this University (and nationally). I don’t see how you can protest a guy who may have been involved in the worst collegiate rape scandal of all time, but pull for a guy who may have been involved in arguably the second worse. A lot of y’all like to say there’s a media bias against Tennessee now, but the university will be absolutely vilified if this hire is made.

Here’s this. It’s only the first 8 weeks but it’ll give you an idea

I'm sorry, when isn't Tennessee villified? They can kiss my ass

Would love to be the villain!
