I would guess Bama's number is influenced by the fact their defense gets off the field quicker, given the offense more possessions, as compared to Houston.

Clearly Bama doesn't play with pace. Georgia certainly doesn't either

Hiring briles doesn't make us up tempo.

Take a look at the rushing stats, they don't suck.

And it's a lot easier to play defense when you're up 2-3 possessions....

His rushing stats put him at the head of the class of potenial hires for guys that use pace for me. I won't hate the hire just don't think it's what Pruitt wants to do.
