That 247 article really sounds like Briles. I’m surprised. Why in the world did he just sign that contract?

His resume is something I can get excited about. I’ll still believe it when I see it.

Sure it will if Pruitt wants him.
My point is that what has happened in a weeks time? Surely, Pruitt would have liked him last week. Something went down and/or somebody turned us down and now Pruitt is scrambling to find an OC. What ya think?

needs to find a way to void that bad boy toot sweet.

Are there any two OC's more different than Briles and Enos? I feel like this should nix any ideas that Pruitt has an overly specific idea of what kind of box he wants to force an OC into.

Why wouldn't he? Either way, he wins. Programs will still be interested in him and, if not, he gets a nice bump in salary... wouldn't you?

Job security. In case interview doesn't go well and he doesn't get offered?

So Hugh Freeze is the new Gruden? Gruden is Freeze....Freeze is Gruden!!!! Have they been seen in the same place at the same time?!

Here we go....

Per 247 Kendal Briles has emerged as a leading candidate for OC along with Enos. Briles will interview maybe as soon as tomorrow

Well, he gets a nice bump in salary, but there’s $800k that Houston is getting from somebody that maybe he could have pocketed from UT (i.e. UT pays him $1m/year, but might have been willing to pay him up to $1.3m/year if no buyout to Houston)... Or it could cost him a P5 offer conceivably.
