Haven't been on much the couple of days. About to do the hardest thing in my life so far. Moving my dad to an advanced memory loss center which means it will separate my mom and dad up after 68 yrs of marriage. I have had to search and find a bed for him and walk my mom through all the paper work and contract signing. Been a really stressful week so far. Going to be sad but the best care for him. Just ask for prayers from my VN brothers.

Prayers sent for you my man. We had to put my brother in an assisted living facility a couple of months ago and it was the hardest thing for our family to do but it's working out for him. He's terminal now and hospice is managing his medication for end of life. It really takes pressure off family members when trained professionals manage end of life care. Stay strong and keep the faith.

I would not say he is rolling, but he has a stable program at Troy. Hard to believe he would leave for anything other than a Power 5 job.

He and Blake Anderson at Arkansas State have stable Sun Belt programs, but can’t seem to get over the hump into a P5 HC gig. Satterfield made the jump from Appy State a to Louisville

That’s why it could make sense for him to leave. He can’t seem to get hired from Troy, but he will always have that success on his resume. He might want to get out while he is still rolling at Troy to a higher profile opportunity and see if he can’t jump from there.

No way we hire Briles. Assuming Brice knows what he’s talking about, the SEC OC has to be McClendon, right? I would say McClendon and Brown could make sense (in that I don’t see obvious reasons to suspect they are not realistic).

I don’t think it’s just noise. VQ guys aren’t gonna report stuff like he’s pruitts top choice and we’ve met and stuff if they aren’t sure. They are too conservative for that.

Is it out of the question? VQ guys also made insinuations that someone may have been blocking the process with Freeze, which looks to be completely false. That is unless they were referring to Sankey and the SEC, which doesn't appear like they were. You don't throw around the word "incompetence" lightly, which was used to describe the process with Freeze.

Some of the stuff VQ has reported on this whole thing probably has some truth to it, but frankly, I think they've done a pretty crappy job.
