Personally...... Fulmer’s the best thing that’s happened to UT football since Neyland.
Without him and a guy named Peyton, UT would be Arkansas. JMO

Several of these same posters have talked about Doug being out of touch and no real info anymore.
But as soon as they can use his words to make Fulmer accusations, Doug is the great Oracle. It's just bashers pushing an agenda.

Fwiw, LWS has been on VQ saying Fulmer and Pruitt are in lock-step with one another.
2 days ago, they called LWS 1 of the only real insiders. Amazing how the narrative changes.

Could have been achieved without putting someone in charge of a multi million dollar business that has no experience running one.
I love Phil. Have known/been around him for years as a vendor to UTAD.

Just checked in for the first time today and everything has gone to ****. Heck I don't know what to think. Have tried to be positive through this past week but now it does seem like the same ole TN crap. For the last 20 years it seems we can't find out way out of a wet paper bag.

I'm not sure our current Administration on the Hill will do what it takes to become the same program we were in the late 90's. We missDoug Dickey

When Clawson was hired, everybody was tired of watching the poor offense, and everybody knew that the new OC needed to do at least moderately well in his first season, but Phil named Clawson anyway, when everybody knew his system took a long time for players to learn. Like everybody knew that Dooley needed to hire a winning DC, and then he named Sal with a switch to three, four defense. Lookit, fans are tired of losing. We want and need a good hire who can move the chains, put points on the board, and attract great players.

If true then it means the beginning of the end for CJP as HC and Fulmer as AD. Fulmer cant let CJP put himself out there in public interviewing guys and then yank the rug out from under him if he wants to pull the trigger and hire him.

I can now say we have the most insane bunch of posters known to the Blogverse. This group will scream for something to happen, gripe because it didn’t happen fast enough and then turn on their hero as soon as said hero doesn’t fulfill there every desire yesterday. I sometimes feel the intelligence being pulled out through my eyes directly into my screen.

I don't hate Fulmer and do miss the years he was coaching.

With that said, if he were such a fantastic coach why did no one offer him some kind of spot? The closest he came to a football job in the last 10 years was as an advisor to ETSU when they were re-starting their program. I would think that if all the folks out there who should know more about these things than those of us on VN didn't want him on their staff or as their HCm, why do so many put so much faith in his opinion?

the current. But the NCAA if finds Bruce had knowledge he will be like Donnie Tyndall. Never coming back to college basketball maybe using the fbi probe was a bad example since the AA would literally have to do as little as possible since the government has more power and can put the findings in plain sight. So when thats all on the table from FBIs findings the AA will hammer Pearl and Auburn will gave to self impose or something will happen to them for hiring a guy with Pearls background.
