That feeling when you bring up Sark on Monday but nobody wants to talk about it...

And that feeling when Hank & Bruin bring up Sark and it's the talk of the thread...

And then that feeling like everybody has you on ignore and you're talking to yourself in some sort of limbo from inception...

No one knows anything. Not Brice, Hubbs, Hyams, Simonton, Price or Low. Nothing. Zilch. Tbey are all throwing crap against the wall. This is the biggest cluster within an admin since, well, last years enormous cluster. Although it’s not as big of a hire as HC, it still shows the ineptitude of TN. Hubbs said Enos “didn’t think very highly of the TN job” and could possibly follow Locksley to Maryland. I mean, they are directly responsible for a kid dying last year-on the football field-and THAT job is more attractive than TN. Smh...

Enos is from big ten country so that isn't really far fetched that he could prefer Maryland over TN

Is Freeze going to be a sure fire OC hire wherever he goes? SEC blocked him as an analyst last year at Bama. Freeze & Sexton are kicking the tires everywhere to see what is the best fit for him, the University and the SEC. If allowed Bama will take him as either an OC or an analyst and promote Enos. While we hold ourselves up internally. BVS!

Sark was really good last time he was a full-time OC in college. He was Leinart's QB coach, then did really well as an OC/QB coach with John David Booty and Mark Sanchez. Also averaged 5 ypc both years in a pro-style offense.

And for those saying he's sucked in Atlanta, the offense isn't the problem there, despite a horrible OL and the Freeman injury. They're 8th in yards per play behind only KC, Chargers, Rams, Bucs, Saints, and Panthers. Also ahead of the Patriots. The problem there has been the defense.

I'd take him over the field in a heartbeat.

And Saban didn’t keep him, did he. The offense was atrocious and the reason they lost that game. If Kiffin isn’t fired, Bama wins the championship. He’s been awful in Atlanta don’t forget that
Maybe Saban tried but he took an NFL OC job instead. Not exactly a step down. This is quite the bass take, bass. Sark would be a great hire.

Of course hubbs said that....

Because he is about to be fired and has been a disaster basically everywhere he has been the last 5 years.

We don’t want Sark. Wildly overrated even when he was at his best.
So he's not HC material, so what? Had a better win% at USC than Kiffin did but half the board would love to have him calling plays.

And if you think those offenses at USC during the later Carroll years were overrated I don't know what to tell you.

Think about what you just wrote. His preference of the Maryland job over UT reflects more on his lack of judgement as opposed to UT's "ineptitude".

IMO, if Enos would rather go to Maryland, it's likely a sign that he and Pruitt would not be a good fit and it's probably a very safe bet he was never offered a job.

I don't think there is any evidence he is about to be fired, his head coach isn't going anywhere. There is literally no reason for him to come here. Stupid rumor is stupid.

I would be ok with Sark. I think hes a very solid OC and would do fine and not likely to be looking for a HC position anytime soon. He would also help with west coast recruiting.

People dont like him because he was a boozer and hasnt done well with the Falcons. Get over it.

Despite the Strawman argument, Sark was OC at USC for one year with a crazy good roster. Yeah, that was a good team. That was also ten years ago. The other 10 examples since then have all been pretty bad, especially his current job. But hey, let’s just not face reality and pretend he’s great because he’s in the NFL and was at USC when they were a machine.
