I know a lot since I teach at a history/English for high schools overseas. I do not know many Americans in their 20s.

Can any of them play football? American football? Can you send a link to their Hudl highlights?

If this video was pasted to aid in recruiting the demographic they should be shooting for likely doesnt enjoy an old man and a violin all that much.

Don't shoot the messenger....

But, my guess is they wanted to get a positive tweet out of some sort today because of all the other schools that are posting where they are going for bowl games.

Pretty weak opinion to keep defending. Who cares who posts it? It's showing how beautiful or area is to live in. Recruits have to live here. Put two and two together
Recruits always say "after a long talk with my parents"
VQ etc; always mention coaches "working to get parents to accompany for a visit"
So VFB puts out tweet pushing community and family atmosphere and leaves many of our fan base, somehow, dumbfounded.

The members I've seen post "I don't really follow recruiting" that are now trying to tell them they're doing it wrong, is a little humorous tbh.

What was that music supposed to do? Sounded like a squirrel getting mounted by a pit bull. “Look at our beautiful forests and cherry tomatoes. Never mind the squirrel. Want to play football?”

Why? Because I am a UTK graduate and when my daughter graduated, she became a 4th generation grad. That's why. Win, lose, or draw. We love Tennessee.

My question is, WHY?

The football Twitter account is now managed by the recruiting office and most of its tweets are geared only at recruits. During the season, the media relations office can post two or three informational links per day, but everything else is recruiting.

That account is not about the fans, so if you see something and wonder why they sent that out, it's because it's not targeted at you.

Any info as to the music they used? I really did think it was some sort of download latency issue.

I would have thought the Allman Brothers playing Jessica would be better, but hey, I suppose they’re not recruiting 64-year-old white females with non-existent athletic ability.

Yea I never said it was for the fans. But at a couple of shots it could've been for some chefs. 👍🏻
