Freeze IMO is an overall better pick than Lindsay from an experience and recruiting standpoint-- the only reason he'd miss out would be the baggage. I would want to know what tipped the scales if Lindsay is picked over Freeze. And I hope it isn't "baggage"... I mean, good Lord, Saban has hired Kiffin (10 times worse) and Sark and it was just accepted...

I think they've probably just seen this too many times where a big name is floating around and they just don't believe it till they see it. But if the VQ guys are saying Freeze is a legit option, then I think you gotta believe that for now, they woulda shot it down already if it wasn't true.
