Volswire-Board Won’t Hire Freeze

Y'all so gullible. The current Board of Trustees has met exactly once. It's completely new. There's no one on it with enough gumption at this stage to speak up and try to quell anything. And nobody atop the current administration was in office a year ago when the other debacle happened. I hate to think that so many of my fellow UT people are so gullible, so believing of anything that comes across the inter webs, the twits, the instagrams -- all that stuff. This was the great value of the old print media. There were standards. Wild crap rarely made it in, and because they only came out once a day, things didn't usually play out in real time. But I can't believe y'all believe something that comes out of bammer about us. Geez. Act like you have some walking-round sense.

Somebody needs to be held accountable for all of this drama. If reporters are too stupid to develop reliable sources and/or just make crap up, they and their employers need to be blacklisted. If Boyd is wrong or lying that the BOT has nothing to do with this hire, then he needs to be shown the door. Don't know who, but someone's ass had better be fired for this garbage.
