Only if the offense looks equally a bad as this season. But that will be true regardless of the hire. You have confidence in Pruitt. You need to rude with that.

Nobody is gonna score, or maintain drives consistently with this OL...nobody. I agree that Helton could have done a better job, but until that thing is fixed...the offense is going to continue to be an weekly exercise in frustration and aggravation...no matter who the OC is.

I hate doing that Bc you never really know. I’m super high on spavital from WVU but someone could easily say “that’s dana’s Offense”. Or same with Pruitt and Saban etc.

I wouldnt say I hate the idea and he may work out just fine if its him. It just doesnt make sense and feels like an "I owe you one" move after paying big for Helton.

I agree. Forcing someone on him he doesn't want is a recipe for disaster. Gotta let him succeed or fail his way. My only concern is that this is new territory for him. Will he make the best decision for his ultimate succes? Time will tell.

Mostly because its just such a Tennessee move to hire an OC, lose him for whatever reason, and then fake like you are doing a search when really the plan all along was to hire from within.

Freeze is a huge name that fans would go crazy over but I would have several huge red flags that would concern me tbh

He’s not a long term guy here at OC, is Pruitt willing to sacrifice the identity he wants for a 1-2 year rental? Not sure.

Yeah.. I would literally be shocked..for this to happen..nothing like that ever goes our way. I was out on Freeze before, but the man has paid his debt, and deserves another chance.
