Here's the bottom line. We have no game changers on either side of the ball RIGHT NOW. I don't care what kind of offense you run. You need someone who can change the game. Preferably a couple on both sides of the ball.

It hasn't even been one full year since Pruitt took over. We are improved from last year with some bad attitudes in the locker room. Let's not panic and see what happens.

I kindly disagree. Chandler and Callaway. jmo

Except right now WVU is the better program. At best it is a lateral move.
Yes but it is a lot of work here for there is very few d1 players period plus if they are real good aka wright and nester (Osu signee) they are going elsewhere. He does good on transfers (most of them big school back ups). The big 12 is the same week in week out all offense zero defense and until that changes it is going to be difficult for them to survive in the championship bowl series.

Honestly in our current situation our closest thing to a game changer is Jennings. Mainly because for most of the year JG didn't have enough time to get the ball to Calloway. He might have been able to be a game changer if we had better blocking up front.

Jennings attitude is what makes him so great. He refuses to be tackled by less than two defenders.

Chandler?

I thought he still had couple of years left man that went by fast.
He did have a couple of years at the beginning of this one. Saban used him just enough to cost a season of eligibility. He reportedly had no problem with it. Leading me to believe that he may not go the grad transfer route and do some cross training at Bama in his final season.

If Chandler had a mediocre line he could be really good or just about as good as what is out there. What would his numbers be at bama, Oklahoma, Clemson? He is good but inconsistent like the vols were all yr. I blame a lot on the scheme that was or was not in place, line play and sometimes his vision for the holes was not best but he can be really good also.

Like both of them. And I'm glad they are Vols. They aren't game changers though.

Agree to disagree. Thats what makes the world go around. Chandler can change a game in one hand off with his speed. Callaway eats peanuts off DB's heads bunch of clutch catches like the UK game.

Chandler?
I am not knocking Chandler. I love the kid! I just don't think defenses fear him or plan around him. At least not yet. I'd love to see what he could do with a good o line.

Please don't misunderstand me because I like him. When I think of a game changer though I'm talking about players you know you can't stop. You just hope to limit. I personally don't think we have one right now. I honestly though Warrior would be one on D this year. Boy was I wrong.
