I don’t think so. He was very passionate this season and fired up majority of the time. Doubt Pruitt tells him to look around. Goes to the NFL or stays imo

Either is certainly possible but if you asked him he’d tell you it’s the former. That he hired a guy he’d never worked with before and that the results weren’t good because of it.

And he’s the guy making the decision on the replacement. Which, to me, makes Friend or Lindsey the most likely hires. In fact, there could be a scenario where we promote Friend and hire Lindsey as pass game coordinator and QB coach.

Yeah... wouldn't hate giving Osovet the job. Pretty sure he was giving his current position with the understanding he'd be giving a shot at OC eventually. Seems to me he's got the strategic intelligence of Freeze without all the baggage.

I don't think Pruitt is going to be in a big hurry. Which means an NFL assistant could be in play as well as a college assistant. Pruitt knows how critical hire this is and will not be in a rush to make this decision.

We did hire him as WR coach. Muschamp wanted to keep him so badly that he gave him the OC job.

He was going to make the lateral move last year as an assistant until they hired him. He's connected to Pruitt and I assume we would pay more.

No idea if he'd come now but it's possible
