When a 110% effort guy goes to meh whatever it becomes glaringly obvious.

It's also a perfect example to folks saying starters didn't slack off yesterday..umm, excuse me, but yes they did and some were ones you'd least expect it from.

How did Calloway slack off lol. His punt return was probably our best play of the game outside of chandlers run.

Read what I posted again. On the less flashy things. Lol

I did. You don’t try hard on STs and almost house a punt return if you’re “protecting” yourself. So i think you’re gonna have to show me some actual evidence of plays you thought he was doing that.

Players not caring and trying is usually a cop out to me for coaches not having their team ready to play. We’ve heard that excuse from like 4 different staffs now. Kiffins players didn’t care in the chik fila bowl. Dooleys players didn’t care care against Kentucky. Butch players didn’t care against Vanderbilt before. Now this again. It’s really weak imo.

Go back and watch him blocking. Did not do a good job and even color guy noticed it. Punt returns are not under the radar plays.

Hopefully we land Pappoe. Another year in S&C will be great for DK and Ignont. Not sure how much Bituli can improve
Bituli, Kirkland, Banks, Peterson, Ignont, and hopefully Pappoe should make for a pretty strong linebacker core next season. Linebacker and the secondary should be strengths.

Giveashitz vs nogiveashitz, slacking vs max effort, want to vs no want to..call it what you will...

getting called out on TV for whiffing your block with no effort and earning a slo-mo replay vs blocking your guy through the back of the end zone, both plays from the WR spot.

I am not sure how much a factor dkjr plays going forward. Not a great tackler and had slowed down
I think another solid offseason in the S&C program will be beneficial. That, and he'll be almost two years removed from the knee injury. At worst he'll be able to provide solid depth as he might very well be backing up Peterson or Ignont.

I agree to a certain extent. We (the royal, nationwide we) have a tendency to make the labor the bad guy instead of the management.

Another year in S&C program and under this defensive staff will help. We need as many bodies as we can get, I’ll be more than pleased with a DK type player as a 2nd or 3rd string if that’s the case. He improved a lot after Uga game imo

Callaway was playing hurt and it was difficult for him to jump yesterday. He probably wished JG could throw him a pass in stride for once this season on intermediate to long routes. Despite the benefit of staying, looking at next season and the prospects for more of the same he should leave. He is fully developed. JJ needs to get healthy and find an NFL team looking for a strong possession type receiver who will run routes inside and block well. I'm ready for Warrior to go early and I am so glad that a different player will wear #22 next season. Nice guy, not SEC quality.

It's time to purge the roster in a big way. Can always fill practice spots with quality PWO's who earn their way to scholarships. We have already heard they get a lot of the coaches' attention in practice to help them improve. Bad, selfish attitudes will ruin a team.

So was Dan Mullen's players he seemed to do ok. I think Pruitt can be good but i dont think he will ever be on the level as Florida or Georgia or obviously Bama. I guess we will see

Mulen is a good coach, and was my top choice to be UT's coach, and was told by many on here that he was overrated and couldn't succeed at UT, and that he would fail at UF. He was hired as a QB guru, but interestingly, he didn't really do much to turn Franks around as quickly as I thought he might. IMO, UF's improvement this season had more to do with getting something like 20% of their roster back from suspension, and the fact that the players didn't shut it down like they did all of November last season after JMc was fired at the end of Oct'17. UF's roster was in nowhere near the shape that UT's was. And another thing people ignore is that so many UT players missed spring practice, and with some, also missed some or all of fall camp. If I remember correctly UT had 5 OLmen available through much of spring practice, and some, like Trey and Kennedy, didn't get to practice all of fall camp. There were just not enough healthy players available to even have any competition at some positions. And because of injuries, so many players were unavailable for off season workouts. As far as I know, we don't have many, if any, players who will need off season surgery, so that automatically should make spring 2019 much more competitive and productive.

WR could could go from strength to weakness quick if MC, JJ leave as it doesn't seem likely that Byrd/BJ stick around. I'd also doubt Latrell hangs around. Basically can only count on Palmer, Murphy, Tillman and whoever we recruit in that scenario as being here. May have to get AT and Bryce some WR touches
