The direct quote according to Jimmy was:

“Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt said two reports that offensive coordinate Tyson Helton has been fired are inaccurate. "It's not true and it's not going to happen," Pruitt told me tonight”

Yea Helton has not been fired (duh it was 30mim after the game). And just Bc he isn’t firing Helton, doesn’t mean he won’t take another job, leave own his own, or anything anything between.

There are rumors true or false. The truth is that Pruitt is not going to tell Jimmy Hyams before he informs Helton.

Quit calling me “friend” you phony troll! You’ve posted it. Not going back to the Lawson timeframe to try to quote it, you took a little heat for it but generally skated...like I’m sure you do on paying real rent in real life.

Positives going into next year: (Not recruiting Bc i don’t really follow)

-Another year with Fitz and S/C staff.
-Secondary should be at top of the conference. Flowers, BT, & AT all looked very good for frosh.
-JG has a full year under him and more experience.
-hopefully bulk of our skill on offense returns.
-slightly easier schedule.

I hope someone takes the job from him. He doesn't seem to inspire the troops imo.

Something you could never say about any of Jones teams before the end.

Very very damning for Pruitt to have his team quit so many freaking times this season

I feel sorry for Pruitt, he's going to have to deal with a bunch of softies for at least 3 more years. It's going to take 2-3 years of excellent recruiting just to get to 6 or 7 win seasons. I hope he keeps his sanity during these next couple of years.

People can blame the OC as much as they want... But how can he do anything with this group of cupcakes on the OL and a really way below average QB... This debate all year about the QB's?? LoL... They're both just plain bad.

Its going to take awhile to get rid of the suckage... So lower you expectations and be patient.

If you have 85 spots, and you can bring in 25, then by the start of year 2 roughly 50 of 85 are your guys. By year 3, 75 of 85. You have to think by that point, the only ones sticking around are the ones you want around.

This recruiting class is huge.

I don't know either but I do know this staff has a major problem with motivation.

Hell probably our most connected poster said the coaches weren't even all in with going to a bowl game. That says all I need to hear about these coaches willingness to work at motivating this team. Very discouraging

Many posters never forgave Bray and his teammates for not wanting to go to a bowl and now we hear our own coaches didn't really care. Bs

Could moving on from players in the next week benefit more from moving on from them 5-6 weeks from today after a Bowl. It’s possible. I think these things get blown out of proportion. Pruitt set the goal to the team to win all of November. Early in the second half I saw plenty of guys still playing hard.

The jury is still out for me either way. I simply don’t think you can jump to conclusions in Year zero.
