Thanks for a few laughs this season VolNation. Hope we get something done with recruiting. Hope the off season doesn't bring much drama other than a big fish here or there. Go Vols, beat Georgia State!

Only good news is we’ll be better next year and Kentucky, Mississippi St, Missouri, and Vandy will take a step back.

With the defense I can see players in position not making tackles and being too slow to get to the ball. We don’t have much talent on the DL with almost no one who can get to the passer. We are what we are at Lb, can’t get faster there, and our corners didn’t play well tonight, but they’re freshmen and have had a good season overall. He has also improved our defense from 83rd to in the 40s so yeah, he’s done much better in spite of his lack of talent than our OC.

Agree. Fun fact. Unless Texas A&M defeats LSU tonight, Pruitt and Mullen will be the only 2 new SEC coaches who improved their team's overall and conference records in their first season. Morris went 2-10 (0-8). Last season Ark went 4-8 (1-7). Moorehead went 8-4 (4-4), exact same as last season, despite being picked to challenge for the SEC Championship. Fisher is currently 7-4 (4-3). Last season A&M went 7-5 (4-4), so A&M has to win tonight to improve on last season. I would say Pruitt got more out of what he had than Moorehead and Fisher, who I heard all offseason would make immediate differences at their respective schools because of the talent they were inheriting.

Why does Tennessee have to be about the only blue blood that just never gets back? Nebraska is coming back with Frost, so that can't be said about them anymore. Just seems like there's no end in site for this trash. Too far gone.

Not sure how you can say a 4-8 Nebraska is coming back.

The defensive scheme was fine. Players are not just too slow, but too small and not strong enough.

Seriously? They went 4-8. Oh, they beat Michigan State? They suck. This is dumb.

The sad thing is, we are better than last year. We are still so bad, and losing the last two makes it feel like we really aren’t though.
