You mean like the batted down first down slant route two possessions ago? Selective memory is unfortunate most times. I also doubt that the play call on third was for Guarantano to throw it away.

Maybe if Guarantano would STOP and listen to his coach as he's coming off the field, rather than keep walking to where Helton has to walk along side the full length of the bench with him, things would process for the kid better. When things go bad for Guarantano his true colors come out. Just watch him closely..

Does the O line just not know who to block or does JG not pick the stunts or blitz up and call the right protection they just let people go free and double a guy ??

I somehow doubt that JG made a call that told Jahmir Johnson, who doesn’t have the football intelligence of a bag of hammers, that meant “don’t block the blitzing safety right in front of you so that I can get my skinny ass driven into the turf for the 800th time this season”.

Programs do die and I have been saying it all year.

If next year is more of this and we lose 4 straight to Vandy, you may not have to worry about annoying comments.

The complacency of the fan base will be overwhelming and eventually this place will turn into a ghost town.

I hope it doesn’t happen but it’s getting closer.

That is coaching. Still not sold on CJP as a program-defining head coach. This is a mediocre-at-best Vanderbilt team - we should at least look competitive.

On the last drive jg held the ball to long on the read option (preventing the TN from being able to gain anything), he throws a pass at the Lin of scrimmage that would've went for nothing (got batted and almost intercepted) and then rolled out and ultimately threw the ball away. Why not actually tuck the ball and run down field with all the space he had? Or throw the ball down field but give the receiver a chance to make a play. He might get it. Or we might get pi. But it's always the same with jg. He's an absolutely piss poor decision make. Which of course is the most important thing about a qb. We'll never consistently win with him. Why can't Pruitt recognize that?

You're right coach. What is Pruitt watching every day at practice.
