I doubt its a very close game, SS will be angry and coaching his ass off but i doubt it helps with that o line of theirs.

Georgia should win pretty easily. 27-10 or something like that. I know there's no such thing as a gimme road game in the SEC, other than maybe in Nashville some years, but the Cocks are in complete disarray.

This will be UGA's first test, but they will probably win by 17 points with some late game scores.

SOS pulls one out and this one is a lot closer than anyone expects. GA still wins.....but not by much.

Apparently there was an on-campus fight today at South Carolina...sounds like 6 or 7 football players were involved and the police responded to the incident.

I think the fight involved non-football players as well. Don't have many other details though.

Word in Columbia is that Tommy Beecher tried to throw a punch, but it was picked off and returned for six.

The story that is being reported fuels all of the conspiracy theories about arrests in Columbia. Evidently, 2 non-students walked into the Russell House, walked up to a 5 players eating lunch, said something and then hauled off and punched a player. Police came and sorted things out. Based on the testimony of several witnesses, it was an unprovoked attack and no charges will be filed against the players.

There have been many complaints by folks down here, including one of the Board of Trustees members about the appearance that the Columbia PD and USC Police "looking" for opportunities to bust Carolina Football players. I don't know that I buy that myself, but when you have some schmuck walk off the street and try to get a fight started with players, it makes one wonder.....what the heck's going on here?

As for the game Saturday, I think it will be closer than the experts think, but in the end, I think it goes the way of the Dawgs.

p.s. Jaytrain- You must live around here to be so informed about the Gamecocks. I have always been amazed at the "inside" information that you post. What's your connection?

don't underestimate Stafford's ability to hose a football game.

Agreed, but South Carolina's (((Not USC, not USCe.. that's insulting to southern cal))) quarterbacks will try their best to match him botch for botch

They might have lost money on the Vandy game!

It'll be close till the end. USCjr's D will keep them in this one until late.

I agree. You can't ever write this off as a UGA blowout much less a win but I see us keeping it close for a while then when our D wears out they will run all over us. Some people continue to forget that we beat them between the hedges last year with basically the same team.
