Not too worried about this result honestly. Missouri is a weird team. They aren't that good, but they have one aspect of the team (passing game) which can go up against any opponent in the nation. Tennessee's safeties are average at best and the defensive front just can't put together consistent performances. Add in turnovers and a blowout isn't surprising. Still feeling good about Vandy next week, think it'll be a lot like the Kentucky game. If Guarantano is out...gets a lot closer.

Feels like we're barreling down 5-7 pike. Once again at this time of year, just feels like Vanderbilt has the better football team.
It feels bad today after such a bad loss. I think it remains to be seen who is better. They played very well against Notre Dame and in the first half against Florida. Other than that, they have been pretty average. We have played very well at times and have been really horrible at times. Shurmer has lit it up against us the last two years. If we cannot contain him, it will be a long day. I still think we have a great shot to win if we execute and play to our capabilities. I think we will be motivated, but I am sure they will also. I think it's a one possession game in the end and I am not ready to predict who I think will win.

Looks like we have three tight ends on our line. One of, if not the worst o lines in the power 5. Got news for everyone, they're probably not going to be a whole lot better next year. Both lines of scrimmage will again likely be weaknesses next year.
Probably so, but they will be bigger and stronger, at least on the Oline. If we get Wright, then he and Morris may well be starting at tackle. That scares me, even though they are very highly rated and Morris at least already has the size.

All year the pitch has been. We suck so come in and help us get better.

People that are naive enough to think that the SEC doesn't try and influence games through officiating needs to watch Alabama play, anybody. By "assisting" in Vandy's win last night, they've assured another SEC bowl team. Had Vandy lost and the beat us next week, then that would have removed bo f2f h Vandy and Tennessee from receiving a bowl.
Ole miss would have become bowl eligible last night......... so I dont see your logic

Did anyone else notice yesterday on TV when JG was going to the tent he looked at someone on the team and clearly said "F U Man " ? I am not convinced, and haven't been convinced everyone on the team likes him, but I just thought that was bad considering he was hurt and going to get checked out. Chemistry is everything to a football team...

Next Saturday will come down to a single thing: want to. Do these players want to go to a bowl? Personally i dont think they do.

I agree it will come down to "want", but I have to think we will want it just as bad as Vandy... Yesterday was just a weird game like the FL debacle, and I hope we will have our mindset and focus right on doing whatever it takes to win. We shouldn't be shifting QB's and even though I think JG is average, he has the timing and chemistry with the WR's that KC clearly doesn't have, so I think we will be in a better position.

The only thing besides another game with vanilla/predictable play calling that I don't agree with, and better get fixed for Saturday, is whoever it is deciding it is a good idea to put in cold RB's on random plays... Two weeks in a row now, we've sent in a cold RB and they have fumbled... next week is for all the marbles... it is one thing to gamble on an onside kick, but quit putting in cold players in important game situations.

28 just needs to hand out Gatorade on the sidelines with Bates next week...

Don't let being outmatched and not having the personally to matchup with a team as don't want something. This team has showed this season they give a Crap. They can't help if they don't matchup with some teams. Mizzu outside of bama/West va was our worst matchup for our defenses this yr. We don't have personell to line up man on man with balanced teams that can spread you out right now
