Percentage chance vs Vandy, go.

40%
I’ll say 50%. We’re just so inconsistent. If our bad side shows up we’ll be in a dog fight and probably lose. If our good team shows up we’ll win by 2 TD’s.

If our secondary plays bad Shurmer will probably eat us alive. But Vandy doesn’t have the Oline Mizzou does so that’s a plus

Let’s just get to 6 wins this year and all will be aight, aight?
I’m a believer in Pruitt boys, he just needs the horses and some time. This team is about to have some nasty nail spitting googly eyed monsters on defense. OL help is on the way as well. I like the direction we are headed in.

Did anyone watch Pruitts presser? Did anyone ask him why JG was allowed to go back in?

Trainers probably went through sideline procedures with him and he seemed fine, answered their questions promptly and accurately, eyes seemed clear, not wobbly, but after his last series when he came to the sidelines a trainer may have noticed something, or JG may have said he had a headache or something else bothering him. But I am sure the question will be/or has been asked to CJP.

Chandler had 1 carry for 33 yards and another for 22. Jordan had 1 for 18. Without those Jordan had 5 carries for 0 yards. Chandler with 12 carries for 27 yards

Pruitt got Coach of the week last week, and now this week he supposedly sucks. Only not.

He's a good coach. I hope JG can be back and we can be that team that won against Auburn and Kentucky.

Give him 6 years and we’ll be happy we did. Give him only 3 years and relevancy will still be a decade or more away.

Today was no fun, I hate that Mizzou seems to routinely blow us out.

Still feel decent about the season as a whole and the progression of the program. Hope the staff keeps everyone engaged and motivated for next week, and I think they will.

Here's a really scary thought. We don't have any seniors on offense and some folks believe we're gonna magically be much better next year. I get the fact that everyone coming back will have a year in the S&C program but I don't think that's enough. I also get that we're probably gonna have a pretty good OL haul this year but those guys are gonna be freshmen. That's not a good thing. I believe we just have to suck it up and give this staff a few years to build solid depth. Hopefully, we can have a good game next week and pull out a win and get a bowl bid. I believe in this staff.

Well we got our ass beat down today. Flat outplayed in all aspects.

Missed tackles and stupid mistakes. Think the win last week got them overconfident. JG going out early didn't help.

Lock is a good Qb with protection. We couldn't get to him all night.

Our OL is bad. It is what it is. Gotta wait for the cavalry to arrive next year.

That settles it. KC isn't a good QB. Hope JG can return next week.

Still think we win against Vandy. We are a bipolar team right now. We gotta load up on the Lithium next weekend.

Here’s Pruitts opening statement

“They pretty well beat us in all three phases of the game. They out-coached us, they out-played us, out-hit us, out-toughed us — they executed better than we did. They scored touchdowns in the red area and took advantage of our turnovers. We didn’t make a lot of tackles. We didn’t win a lot of one on ones.”

He also said this about the INT before half
We had a chance to stay in the ballgame right before the half. The score was 19-10, we’ve got a good drive going. We had an opportunity with some field position and we make a bad throw and they run it all the way back. So it’s at least probably a ten point swing there.

Biggest issues in my opinion:

Defense - tackling. Defense was tackling shoulders all day. When they weren't, they were taking bad angles or waving their arms at guys. When they got engaged, they got driven back. With a few exceptions, I thought they were in decent enough positions to get stops. Too many missed tackles.

Offense - o-line. Too much penetration. Very up and down unit, and their up isn't up enough as it is.

An offseason in the S&C program and some weight coupled with going through the 2019 spring and fall practices will be a big deal. Remember a lot of guys, including some of the OL, were recovering from injuries this past offseason, so missed summer workouts and then missed either spring or fall, or in some cases, both. That doesn't mean UT will be winning the East next season, but I do think the offense will be able to more of a power running, ball control offense with a legit deep threat capability. But still going to take a bare minimum of 2-3 years of recruiting, RSing, and developing to be thinking about Atlanta.

I understand that our offensive line will be back next year with another year of experience, but they are also not that great.....BUT we get those 2 five star OL recruits if they are almost as good as trey smith then we will be in good shape next year along the line. I would rather get good OL and DL players than skill players because we need to get 2-3 sacks a game and run the ball 190 yards a game.

Anyone know the status of the kid committed to Michigan?
