Sand but true: majors probably has no idea where he is or who’s he’s taking that picture with.

Things may have changed, but the last time I heard a Majors interview he still seemed really sharp to be that age.

Johnny was a good one though neither he nor Phil is the best however as that distinction belongs to who the field's named after, I'm not going to lie though based on the stories I hear from my pops it sounds like Johnny was about as entertaining in postgame interviews as Mike Leach, wish I was old enough to have heard some of his funny responses for people on Vol Calls. Majors was never going to win a national title here. He had built arguably a top ten program before he was fired, but it took him way too long to get things rolling IMO. If he hadn't been a Tennessee legend he would have probably been fired sooner.

And i think Virginia and FSU are toss ups but being optimistic we win those.

Not sure that you can count BC and Syracuse as an automatic L.

Yea we would basically be right where we are now. Our schedules are pretty similar honestly

Both play wvu
Clemson and bama are comparable
Georgia is probably better than any other team in the ACC but the rest of the teams are pretty similar.

Who do you compare to Auburn? BC?

Coach Majors should have been hired instead of Bill Battle. Majors came too late to help UT that much. By the time Majors got things halfway straightened out, other schools had hired coaches that Majors couldn't compete with in recruiting.
