She's gave it a good run, but I think she comes up short. Georgia is still just too Red. Hope I'm wrong though, Kemp is a douche canoe.True... but this actually makes me feel better about Abrams chances tomorrow. Kemp is looking desperate since the "exact match" law was shot down in Federal court and he can't indiscriminately throw out voter registrations anymore.
My best guess is socialists win the House by around 5 and Rs keep Senate something like 53-47Republicans have to win the vast majority of the tossups (24 to be exact) to retain the house considering D's have an 8 seat advantage out of the gate.

Not saying it's impossible. The election of Donald Trump proves that anything can happen on any given election.
you know that is exactly what his opponent Abrams is doing too right? She is calling out voter oppression and saying voting rights are being actively being taken away. "Vote while you still can", "Vote to keep your vote" type of things. It is a symptom of Trump controlling the GOP: blatantly lie, blame everything on a Democrat, spread false narrative, supporters immediately believe it no matter what, repeat on Fox News echo chamber.
Nyet Comrade. Kemp is taking a page from Lord Red Hat's playbook and accusing his political opponents of breaking the law with absolutely no proof and bold face lies.
I was very critical of the Kavanaugh appointment hearings and the entire cluster**** process.Lord Red Hat's playbook? You're giving Trump far too much credit. Both parties have engaged in making accusations with no proof for decades. Didn't the Dems just try to block a SCOTUS appointment with an accusation that had zero proof? Let me guess, that's different. Please, both sides engage in slinging the BS.
At least there is some basis in fact for her saying that. The "exact match" law was shot down because that is what it was attempting to do. Also, Kemp's refusal to step down as Secretary of State is an obvious conflict of interest. In a statewide election in Georgia, it obviously benefits the Republican party candidate if voter turnout is low.you know that is exactly what his opponent Abrams is doing too right? Kemp sucks no doubt, but Abrams is just as bad.
I think purging African-Americans from the voter rolls and attempting to close voting locations in predominantly Democratic areas counts as actual voter oppression, as opposed to Kemp flinging **** against the wall to see what sticks.you know that is exactly what his opponent Abrams is doing too right? Now, Brian Kemp is accusing Democrats in Georgia of hacking the election without providing any evidence or even giving any reasons for why he believes this. It's a reckless accusation for the supervisor of elections to be making if he isn't prepared to prove it... and frankly, it just looks like he is preemptively making an excuse, just in case he loses tomorrow. He wouldn't be doing this if he was confident that he was going to win.
I didn't think the law itself was shot down. just his attempt to use it. could be wrong. it definitely hurt him, as it should. At least there is some basis in fact for her saying that. I understand that you guys are trying very hard to be ironic... but his claims should be investigated and if he was just blowing smoke? This should be emphasized - even by conservative media outlets. Look, the conclusions reached by our intelligence community regarding Russia's tampering in the 2016 Presidential election were clear and they supported their beliefs with evidence. You are making a false equivalency. One has evidence and one does not.Georgia should appoint a SC to investigate these claims. Need to investigate those FB memes as well.
there were whites getting purged as well. if he had actually done his job correctly he would have been able to do some of the purges so its not like he was way out there creating rules as he went to keep African Americans in their place.I think purging African-Americans from the voter rolls and attempting to close voting locations in predominantly Democratic areas counts as actual voter oppression, as opposed to Kemp flinging **** against the wall to see what sticks.
Agreed, it pissed everybody off for different reasons and energized both parties. I expect record turnout for a midterm election tomorrow. It's fair to say that hearing has been helpful to Republicans in this election cycle. It energized the base at a time when they really needed something to latch onto.
