A bowl isnt the determining factor this year for success to me anymore. It's just getting at or damn near a top 10 class. I think everyone can agree the OL and DL are by far the top priorities.
Yep. We're not making a bowl game. Give me a top 10 class, and get rid of the bad apples. I'm in it till I ain't.

So what is the outlook on KC? If he didn't play yesterday, he probably won't see the field again this season. Can only imagine what this kid is thinking... could have actually played somewhere else this year... this has basically been a waste for him. You can either be in the KC or JG camp, that is fine, but I think KC was sold a bill of goods.
And don't say JG has played at that much of a higher level to keep KC off the field. I know we have two more years of JG and they are giving him experience, but they haven't even given KC a chance during a game to prove he can play... wait, NM, he came in against AL and put points on the board and moved the offense down the field...

Butch managed to get to 6 wins in his second year with an Oline just as bad and inexperienced as we’ll have next year. The Dline was awful going into the year. Barnett and Maggitt obviously emerged but Maggit hadn’t played in a year and a half and wasn’t great before injury. Barnett was a true Fr. I don’t know why it’s crazy to some to think we should get 6-7 wins

Just a FWIW:

#14 in the SEC in Total Offense. #14 in O scoring in the SEC.

#6 in the SEC in Total Defense (somewhere around #50 nationally when NCAA stats are posted this week). #11 in D scoring allowed in the SEC, which could also improve with the remaining schedule.

The real coaching has been occurring on the D side as they are improving despite the situation of being on the wrong side of time of possession nearly every game. It's interesting that those coaches have been most willing to go with more inexperienced players earlier and more consistently in the season while making material changes in scheme as needed on the D. The O coaches have been less willing to make changes except in the one position group that needs the most continuity working together - the O-line. The scheme adjusts weekly and is never the same. Seems to me CJP and the O coaches might want to reconsider what they are doing and with who since we now have a 9 game sampling, but that's just me.

Carry on.

Maybe he should keep his mouth shut and do as he’s told, and maybe he will play. I’m sorry but I watch this team every Saturday and 80% of these guys are quitters. He’s lucky to be in the damn team as far as I’m concerned.

I’m amazed at the crap you just posted!!!!

I’m going to give you the facts, SAPP is ALL IN!

He has NEVER failed a drug test.
NEVER missed a practice
NEVER been late to a meeting, practice, class, etc..
NEVER faked an injury( to avoid spring/fall practice)
NEVER quitted the team
NEVER refused to do as any coached asked

He is the most versatile LB
He is the fastest LB
He is the most humble and respectful kid
He was asked to gain weight, HE DID
He was asked to learn Will & Mike play book, HE DID.

We have no idea how many NFL players will be on our team next year.

But to answer your question: Dobbs, Malone, Barnett, JRM, Sutton, Coleman, AJ Johnson, Croom. They were all in our two deep to start the year. Oh yea and Ethan Wolf just got signed last week too. The last 4 were UDFA’s

Are you the one that said he was better than Mack Wilson?

Maybe i am but even if that’s the case you have to be careful about constantly calling out your players.
You mean players like Richmond, who has been flagged for how many false starts and formation penalties this year; and then feels the need to go after his coaches because they get on his ass for committing said penalties over and over and over again? Those players?

Is the competition better now?

Says the one agreeing that Charlotte and Tenn are equal teams

These are some of the same players who were backflipping and dancing after a win over, wait for it...Southern Miss. Think about that.
